If the game has replay value then it can be ok. For example warioware is short but it has nice party value. However some games such as trauma center for the DS are short and have no replay value. I don't like those kind of games. (i liked trauma center though it was just an example)

It doesn't really bother me if it's a short game or a long game. As long the short game has some replay value and the long game has a good story.

As long as it has replayability I'm fine with it... But if it has replayability, it's not really short in the long run, is it?

I actually do not prefer long games because the plot is too convoluded and does not add to the overall effect of the game. Short games however, have a short and succinct plot that attracts the players attention quickly and effectively. Although the duration of a short game is less, it adds more fun in that time slot than long games.

Hate is such a strong word~ I don't dislike short games, but I would prefer longer games, short games finish too soon sometimes, but if the story gets on properly, it's actually quite nice~

Short games... I don't like em, that's for sure. When I bought Tomb Raider Legend (I'm a Tomb Raider Franchise fan ) I got through the entire game in just 2 days! collecting the secrets and finishing the Time Trials took me a week or so, but where was the challenge? =/ Overall, it was a too easy game, but I don't dislike it that bad.Tomb Raider Anniversary made it worth waiting, and made the lack of Legend not so bad anymore, since it was mostly in Anniversary! =]That's why I prefer RPG games, they take long, and still do not bore you. Golden sun anyone?

Well, I would have to say it depends on what kind of game it is, and most especially the Genre. For example, Take Wedding Peach for the SNES. It's based on an anime, but it fits in the Miscellaneous Category since you go though those different mini games. In fact, the whole game is just a series of Mini games that's fun. whack the moles but if you hit a boy you lose points! Mix and match the slots images to earn points.... etc. If it was dragged out longer and had a full plot and storyline you had to go though to get to the next mini game then I'd lose interest completely. It's a short game, and it's a fun time waster. =) Now on the other hand... now if it was a serious game, like a rpg/beat them up combo (think Champions of Norrath or something simlar)... then yeah, I would resent it being too short.
