It depends on what constitutes a "Short game". If pick-up and play games like Tetris or Meteos are considered short, then no, I don't hate them.

Short games can be very annoying. But at the same time they can be great if the short game has a high reply factor.

Oh my gawd I hate short games. I dunno about any short ds games yet, but who here remembers Demon Crest for SNES? Man. I remember I bought that thing, put it in my SNES, and i did like three levels, fought a really hard boss, then it gave me an horrible ending. Then one day I played it again and i found a bunch of secret paths and my game was longer and awesome. Still not that long, but it was good. Anyway my favorite long game would be...megaman battle network 5 double team ds. wow. long name. XD

I think short games can be quite nice within the context of the game itself. Some games just don't work as 20+ hour fests because they aren't designed for long-term addictive play. Platformers and action games better be damn good if they're gonna try to keep my attention for that long. RPGs and adventure games (old-school adventures) I like long. No RPG should be less than 40 hours.

It depends on what types of short games. I love tetris, not sure if that's a short game.

I like short games because you can play them over and over. With long games, it'll be more fun the first time, but one would probably never play it again.

Prob why i like the FF games with them being so big. I hate a game that gets you hooked then it's all over but then i don't like games that are big for the sake of it..... just more and more and more of the same for nothing

Touch Detective was short (4 Chapters) But I loved it because the chapters were so fun to play through all the time.It depends on how fun a game is for me.

of course, you beat them way too quickly and then your done, and you realize you should have rented it. usually, short games also have bead reply values too.

I used to hate short games, I would pretty much only play RPG's, but now that I have my supercard one I don't care. In fact I have more games then I have time to play. I wish I could play at work :( but oh well instead I post on this forum. But my favorite long game, and I know I'm a fan boy is FFVII. But I'd say a close second is Star Ocean II. III sucked, worst story ever, well maybe not but pretty bad.

i hate them so much.some game are so easy that you can finish them in about 3 - 4 hr and you were not even trying to finish it in that kind of time. (forgot the name of the game. i will put it in later on)this is one of the reasons i like FF games coz there is a ton of stuff to do in them and you can play those games for 30 - 40 hours and only finish the game once.AsrarQ

I hate to buy short games. But when I finish a short game and I didn't spent any money for it, I'm happy that I can start playing the next.

I also hate short games. Most people change the time to cheat on a game, like "The sims 2" was quite short.

I hate spending the same $35 on a game that i can beat in 10 hours (/shakes fist at Rocket Slime) that i could spend on a game that's 50 hours+. FFIII has been the most time consuming for me so far.

No, i like them better than longer games. They won't bore you as quickly. If i had to buy them i would hate short games though. Waste of money.

I really love long games (PC game Oblivion, for example), but games unexpectedly short can be a blast too! (PC game Call of Duty, for example) As for DS games, though, most of the ones I own are relatively long games. One DS game shortness complaint is Star Fox Assault. Just as I got into it, it ended! I thought the whole game was a frikin tutorial :P. And replaying it for different endings and stuff felt like a chore to me.
