duh! doesn't everyone. It's all make believe, and some of the games are just amusing even if they are bloody. I'M NOT TRYING TO SEEM DARK HERE, but most games now a day are getting stupid, so many people revert back to the old school games that people consider for 8- ages. Then again the only other real games are mostly rated M and you can't get them until you're over 17 which sucks. Everyone plays games not for their age level because of their understanding of the meaning of the word fun.

well the gaming generation is getting older now and i find it weird that in some counter strike servers i am playing with 12-13 year olds and myself being 19 -_- .. its also the opposite with me playing supposed 'kiddy' games like pokemon... but hey, i grew up playing those games right?

I think everyone does. Not many people in their early teens would miss out on GTA just because they're not a certain age. or conkers bad fur day... that was absolutely hilarious for me and i was 11-12There's nothing wrong with playing cute games that are good either.

is there really an age? to play games. I think the common misconception is that only kids play games. The fact of the matter is, gamers are now getting older and older. I mean come on how is a 12 yo going to buy a PS3. Its ridiculous. I'd have to say theres no game that has an age restriction. I mean unless its like leisure suit larry lol. Or one of those educational games. But mainstream games are for everyone.

I'm guessing that a lot of us are on here to play games that are not exaclty for our age. Whereas I really don't like the ideas of Pokemon or anything to do with it, the games are so fun, its kind of addicting!

Well... I don't know if games really arent "my age" ... I think that games are more alligned with personality rather than a particular age. If I ever have kids, though, I will probably try to keep them to maturity appropriate games

I always had done when I was younger.Even my parents wern't that fussed over it, I remember buying primal rage with them and my dad didn't even seem to care there was an age limit

Well frankly, as of now I am "old enough" to play the games you speak of, so I guess it's a bit erroneous. I certainly did, though, play games I shouldn't have been playing when I was younger.

Yeah, sometimes. But not the games in consoles. I play the games in Newgrounds, especially the violent ones.
