Animes typically are better, except the characters seem to spend WAY to much time talkin...but old school cartoons(the classics, tom and jerry, ren and stimpy, maybe some of the stuff u get on boomerang) pwn all :P

Generally, I like anime better...but some American cartoons (namely Codename: Kids Next Door :yaypsp:) have some of the best parodies I've ever seen. :blink:

I have to say that Anime is good and has some great gems of animation, but overall I probably enjoy "cartoons" more.Not always, as some Anime like FMA or Cowboy Bebop or Trigun are faves of mine, but Western animation has a better collection of good cartoons, where as anime has like about only 30 good titles

Cartoons are better, but the ones with cool jokes like Family Guy, Robot Chicken, American Dad, South Park. Anime has better story and art, but it's not funny and it sucks when you have to listen to Japanese voices and read the subtitles....

same with amalie... i muchly favor anime, though i enjoy watching cartoons too...i like the way anime characters are drawn... however, some doesn't...one more thing, Anime has good stories suitable for young adults

I like them both.Cartoons are cool for a laugh.(Futurama, Spongebob, Family Guy)Anime are cool for soemthing interesting..(Death Note, Please Save My Earth)

definetly anime because in cartoons you cant see so much blood like in hellsing but cartoons are more hilarious

Well, these days, it would probab be cartoons. But, back in the late 1990's and some of the 00's, I would watch "Dragonball" and/or "Dragonball Z". Yes, I know. Very typical of me.

I don't watch many too many of either now, not enough time. I would say I like animes better though. Some of the best animes I have seen were Berserk, Trigun, Vampire HunterD, Akira and Coyboy Bebop. See you later space coyboy. :laugh:
