What ruins an anime for you?

I can handle fillers. Heck, I watched every single Naruto and Bleach filler there was, no matter how horrible the story was.What really grinds my gears is when it gets dubbed into English. Like the English version of Naruto and Bleach, I just don't like the way they pronounce some of the words, like Jounin. The English version says "Jou-neen", but normally, I'd just say Jou-nin. I don't know where that "eee" sound comes from. The people who dubbed Outlaw Star, Cowboy Bebop, and FullMetal Alchemist did a really good job, in my opinion. I wish all anime could be dubbed like that.

I hate a lot of Voice Acting, especially in some of the newer animes coming to the states.

I usually get bored of an anime when it gets too popular.Usually I'll be really into a series when it's almost unheard of, then news leaks out about it and all the raving fans just make me lose interest. I dunno. I wish it didn't happen, but it does. Alot. D-:

What ruins a perfectly good anime show would be the voice overs. I always have to watch my shows in Japanese cuz the English versions make the show suck!!! Like for example, Bleach is one of my favorite shows, but the English version is so crappy I refuse to watch it on adult swim. Come on now...how do you pronounce the names wrong? Somethings wrong with that picture here!!!

The only thing that ruins an anime for me is the english versions.( The dubbing) Some in all honesty, i like in english, like naruto, while others like bleach, i refuse to watch in anything but japanese.They just screw too many things up when they chance it to english. Different meanings different everything. I cant even stand bleach in english, i refuse to watch it in that state, they screwed up big time when they messed around with the script. :P sadly im not the one in charge so i cant change anything, but i wish i could, like im sure there are other people like me that with they wouldnt mess around with the script.

Like when I used to realy like watching the early episodes of Bleachbut then it got realy repetetive and turned into basically JUST fighting(yeah I know thats what Bleach is all about, but still) :P

I hate fillers, or when I've read the manga, then watch the anime, and a bunch of stuff has changed, and the plot is totally different.Like .hack//legend of the twilight manga was all about finding Aura and returning Zefie. The anime turned into "OHNOES LETS SAVE THE WORLD!"

I dislike when you start an anime of not knowing what the heck is going on and by the end of the series your still clueless because they didn't resolve anything.

The ending. In Full Metal Alchemist, the ending to the anime was bad. And in the movie, they both stayed in our side of the gate. That's another dumb thing. I would rather use alchemy than our science.But, Erementar Gerad's ending was one that left you feeling happy, for whatever reason.

Well, usually, if it has too much mindless pervi comedy (Love Hina type of shows), lack of a plot (except in the case of Azumanga Daioh ^_^), bad dialogue, and bad graphics - I just stop watching :lalala:

If the show becomes tedious and annoying, yeah... I'll start disliking it a lot. Especially if they go into those filler arcs with "fighting tournaments" or something not dissimilar to that in shounen series. AND THE FLASHBACKS. STOP WITH THE FLASHBACKS.

Flashbacks that are constantly repeated throughout the anime.Walk/Run Cycles. (Friggin' Annoying)Yaoi. (Bleh)But most of all, I really hate open endings. (except for good open endings, like Fate/Stay)

A seemingly pointless plot that's been dragged on like Inuyasha, One Piece, and Pokemon.An unexpected end when it have to think of an ending of its own when it catch up to the manga namely Zatch Bell, Rurouni Kenshin, and Flame of Recca.Low quality animation like Musashi Gundoh.Yup...

i realy like dbz,naruto and pokemon.

the most important thing to me is the story line ....i mean if the hero for like 50 episods keep fighting and got his donkey kicked to save some one then he or she dies that makes me feel like i wasted my time on the anime
