i hate bad audio. characters will be talking practically at a whisper so you have to turn it up a bunch, then all of a sudden it cuts to a bomb exploding. Or the worst is when it cuts to some girl getting hurt, and it sounds like shes having an orgasm and you know EVERYONE in the house heard it.

You couldnt have put it any better. >.<Badly done dubs are next. ESPECIALLY after you watch the originals.

I don't like it when the anime suddenly jumps to a conclusion. It totally ruins the story -_-

Constant talking that leads to nowhere ruins any anime for me. DBZ Freeza saga bored the hell out of me and I pretty much stopped watching it after that, whereas the original Dragonball was great. Also, the accumulation of endless powers, again Dragonball Z...4 Super Saiyan levels? WHY?! Hmm, I guess watching dubs also ruins it for me slightly, particularly Naruto's constant saying of "Believe it!" urgh...what else....? Oh, 2 second fight scenes, where you see nothing except to figures slowly falling, then one of them bursts....Im very picky eh?

Re-using animation frames more than one or two times in an episode unless its for deliberate comic effect always seems a bit of a cheat to me. Changing voice actors is annoying and changing perfectly good theme tunes for a new series to something worse (Ranma/pokemon!)Also: when a "film"/edited version is made for Western audiences that cuts out half the story! (I think Fist of North Star did this with one of their films)

What ruins an anime for me is when the plot never ends. @.@ It runs on and repeats often, at that time it just gets boring T_T. Also, when they make something impossible or unfitting happen at the very end of the anime. That ticks me off quite a bit @.@

Anime that makes you wait for the next season, indefinitely!! XD haha luckily not too many of those =) Other than that, I hate dubs, even though they're getting better now it used to be horrible!!! So i keep myself to subs =) I guess those are my two top peeves.

What ruins it is when a Japanese anime comes here to the States and gets horribly dubbed, lol. Some voices are just horrid, like the Naruto voice..... ugggh, just makes me ill. I mean it's not the story, cuz the story is there from the get go. It's just that it gets too "kiddy" once it actually gets here, and combine that with bad voices and you've just ruined an awesome anime.

I can't stand it when most of the opening of an anime just recaps the last episode. Also, I hate the stereotypes they perpetuate. For example, in the "Pretty Sammy" knockoff spoof of "Tenchi Muyo," the Americans talk with overexaggerated phonology, and they generally seem annoyingly loud and rude ("Oh my GAWD!!" "JEEE-ZUSS!"). Plus, it seems minorities aren't very well represented, either. Horrid dub voices will kill it immediately, too. Oh, and what's up with the pediophilia? In "Negima," a nine year-old UK magical teacher comes to teach at a Japanese private school, and of COURSE all of his 8th grade aged (and overly busty for their age) girls are all falling head over heals for him. He's NINE, for crying out loud! Plus, with these girls being so young, of COURSE there are tons of panty shots. I suppose I shouldn't expect any less from Akamatsu Ken, creator of "Love Hina." While his art is fabulous, this particular anime/manga series bothers me. Isn't this in the least bit disturbing, or am I being too prudish?

1. IF the anime is seriously pointless lyke one of the random ones, like the one with the afro dude fighting a fishcake face person, totally random.2. Tooooooo much suspence lyke every momment is suspence.3. The art work. I mean common yr gonna b watchin these charactesr throughout the anime why not make them look right.4. Initial D is a good anime but the lips of all the characters look weird 2 me5. ALso for dubs when they maket he characters sound rediculous or wen $kids makes the animes lyke kiddy ******.Ex. When they dubbed One Piece chopper goes from being a high pitched asswipe to sounding lyke a 200 pound trucker, the effect in the nun dubs is sooo much better

when all they do is talk, talk, talk, talk, talk, talk, talk, talk, talk, and no action.and, yes, when they drag out of the plot. various other things too.

The fillers ruin animes for me. They always $#@! and the anime does go forward and go to the good stuff. Like the Naruto filler kind of ruined it for me because I read the manga and seeing Naruto being a total absolute idiot in the filler made be become less interested in it since I was looking forward to what happens next.

It would probably be the over-dramatic scenes and the stupid plot lines.

the filler when the story arcs are over...and to top if off... they introduce new characters with no personality or just to maintain the current popularitywhen they spend 20 minutes for a history lesson, then just as they are about to pose to strike...we have to wait for the next episode..also overly long storylines.

Translating an anime with terrible voice actors.I speak of Tenchi Muyo and One piece. With stuff like that, it's best not to translate at all.
