The worst thing ever is the annoying, high pitched girls that NEVER GO AWAY. The worst I can think of is the girl who's always screaming "Ryoma-sama" in Prince of Tennis. She makes me cringe every single time.

I hate an anime that repeats itself 500 times, it seriously gets repetitive.

The thing that ruins a series for me the most: Plot holes. That just puts me off, as it generally means that anything goes in the story and it doesn't have to make any sense. I'm not saying that a series should have a lot of elaborate rules, but if a mangaka puts them in, he should stick with them! Series that don't add too many rules generally avoid this pitfall.Aside from that, dragged out dialogue, fights or story in general. I like to feel like I've read something when I go through a chapter. Compare the latest chapters of Naruto, One Piece and Bleach. To me, the Naruto chapter had so little in it that the Bleach and One Piece chapters felt like 2 and 3 chapters respectively in comparison.

what ruins an anime for me are crappy fillers, crappy plot or a disappointing ending like the ending to the spiral anime, you never find out who Ayunu really is or what happened to his brother or what the blade children really unlike the ending the manga which answers all your questions and more

Well nothing really ticks me off more than a bad ending to a good anime but by then its ushually to late... the thing that gets me during the anime is something almost all animes have and its that one point when the main person gets beat then ends up in a coma or they cant decide if what their doing is right or that kind of thing and then the anime will drag it out so long that sometimes ill just stop watching for a few months untill i have the patience to deal with it... so basicly its when they over do it with suspence.

I'd have to say bad English voice actors. That and draw out story arcs. I mean REALLY how many kostu's can there possibly be?

fillers is the most annoying of all, and also when the story line in the manga series is not shown in the anime and is a good part.

i dont know why all hate that "fillers" so much, i mean, why does it have to be the excact same story line as in teh manga, those fillers are amusing, if its just one or 2 eps, if they make a hole season like naruto or bleach, it sucks ( especially cuz the arancar thingy didnt end, he fought grimmjow, won , and in the next ep all are at home or what, how did they escape and get the others, or are they still there, according to that damn storyteller they are at home, so damn uncoordinated..)

Pointless fillers and stretching of espisodes. I don't mind them making a series longer than the manga or adding stuff that wasn't in the manga, but at least make it fun to watch. And don't drag stuff like fights out for 3 or 4 episodes like in Dragonball Z. :)

When the same thing happens over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over......and over.... Other than that, when they have stupid bits in the middle where everyone not important dies. :l

Bad art, generic harem anime, too much ecchi, generic stories, boring, and things that just seem to drag on and on and on.

I think that fillers are the worst thing that I can imagine for an anime.

A filler can be good when it's well done and you aren't reading the manga (so you're waiting for that one cool battle to be animated) but take for example Bleach, there can be no excuse for what is happening here! Is it so much to ask to stick to the same time-continuity?

Bad storylines. Clichés. Horribly high and cutesy voices. Seemingly endless chains of fan service. (You know, panty shots and all.)Ah I forgot to add the thing I hate most : Cheesy lines.

when they start talking to much instead of fighting like naruto when they drag out the episode

Yeah It takes them like 8-10 episodes to finish a battle but it could easily fit in 5-6 episodes if they would fight quickly.

Is terrible voice acting :P I hate when an anime comes out in a dub and the voices are terrible. Worse when the japanese voices are aweful. ALSO I hate editing an anime to the point where it no longer makes sense. Like CCS, poor show got butchered on North American television.

i'm not too fond of anime that is too dragged out, or delays the inevitable for like 300 episodes, like inuyasha (i stopped watching it so i dont know if this is still true), but inuyasha and kagome have that thing going, and whenever it was addressed it was like "they gonna finally hook up" and it was exciting. however, it's gotten to the point that i just don't care anymore because they're never gonna hook up, because then there won't be anymore tension, unless they fight a lot, in which case that'll spoil it. what i also don't like is when an anime gets crazier and crazier, and has to keep topping itself off. i think Gantz is on its path towards that, because i dont know how the hell they're gonna bring out an even stronger enemy than what they have right now.

if it's fighting/action anime then it's the fillers and the number of episodes they drag until the fighting starts and the fight lasts as long as 5 or 10 minutes i.e. dragonball z

What really ruins it for me is a squealish character. You know, the type that doesn't talk, but whines and squeals in an ear drum bursting manner? Cousin of the excessive crying types. Both of which will make me run from an anime. A good example would be Alien 9, which I wanted to watch and did so on Mute. :awesome:

Sometimes a single character can ruin it. Y'know, the kind of character that does nothing useful but is onscreen almost 100% of the time. Other than that it's those 30-episode long filler seasons. DX
