for me it would be spoilers and fillers. I don't mind the crappy animation but if the plot is going nowhere then that ruins it for me.

That depends. If it's an animation driven show, then stock animation is terrible. If it's a plot driven show, plot deviced and forced plot. If it's a character driven show, stale and unbelievable characters, and so on.

first i look at the art, and then i check out the plot.but the major thing that ruins anime for me is the length. if it's past 30 episodes, i dont want to watch it anymore.

i think it is the fillers..and also if the story,characters is not good.i also not want if the anime have bad grapics..of course also the spoilers...I HATE THAT.

A lame-ass anime like Kyokaramao (God Save Our King) is an example of a terrible anime...To me, lame frame by frame animation makes it so unreal, and all the characters are so stiff, can't they like, move while breathing?Too much romance...Dumb plot...

Well, first post here, hope to do more when time passes.I could surely say that, what ruins an anime for me is the excessive amount of fanservice. There's a point when this practice will overcome the whole plot, and when it happens, it just sends everything to the garbage.For example, recall Ikkitousen. There are good fights and a story that tries to resembles the classical book "romance of the 3 kingdoms". But when the fanservice is just too much to bear (like, watching Sonsaku's panties, Ryomou's butt or Ryofu's breasts all the time) then there it is when the problem arrives. Because you just don't care about the story anymore, but instead when are these ladies gonna put some clothes on ¬¬Also, super-powerful protagonists like some animated "Mary Sues" and stuff. It's boring to watch someone invincible kicking the crap out of everything that stands in her/his way.A bad ending is also one of the most terrible things that can happen to an anime. If the ending is bad, then it means all the time you spent watching it was not worth it. Thus, we the viewers get mad. That's easy to understand.

[cough] annoying characters like the girl in code geass that created the big bomb and is now all sad that she sold her soul for science [cough]I really hate that girl in code geass that threatened to blow up the entire school in season 1 because she wanted zero dead. Shes a prime example of a b****. >:[ I can't emphasize how much I want her head on a stick.

i'd have to go with, when an anime reaches 100+ eps, and you know that the main characters can't die or lose the fight because the anime's been going long *cough*naruto**cough* it takes all the fun out knowing the outcome before the fight even beings XDanime's should keep it short and sweet 20-50 eps and 50eps MAX man don't drag it out and make 1,000,000 arc's and totally forget the original plot >_<

... But in some cases heroes lose fights, and then they try again... anime like that doesn't get boring to me ever, plus there's Sailor Moon which shows us how many ways there are to win Anime like Dragon Ball though, is exactly like what dongaville said >_< Goku just trains, wins, trains, wins, trains, wins... *continues on for another two paragraphs* ... Get the idea?

It's been said throughout the entire thread, fillers. Some are funny but when it goes on for over 10 episodes... it's not as interesting anymore. Another thing that ruins anime for me are random twists that just don't work or make any sense that makes me feel lost while watching the anime.

In another forum dedicated to Sailor Moon related discussions, one videogamer was actually complaining about SM and other anime shows being too full of cliches (with the protagonist winning in the end, and in SM, each time victory comes in a much different manner, but yet that guy whined about how he wanted twists soooooooooo badly... *groan)... Such twists can make these guys feel good For me, depends on what the twists is, but in general I've been able to live with cliches for the most part, at least until climaxes of stories...

Id have to say if the quality is horrible and I hate hate hate love triangles most times they just ruin the stories and also when there is no story line I cant watch it as well as if its really slow I get bored of it...

For me it is fillers and very bad dubs. one piece's dub was the worst dub I have ever seen and when the change the voice actors they made it worse.
