It never happened to me yet but in final fantasy 7 for ps1 which i played on my ps2 my data corrupted twice once after i beat the first disc and once when i played for 2 hours. So now each time i save i save twice in two different spots.

it happened to me once. it was afta my cuzin saved ova my FF8 game so i started ova got far and saved. next thing i kno it was corrupted.

about 2 times, one time with my socom 3 game and the other with madden 2007. i think that the game was scratched up and that caused the problem.

I've never had that problem with my slim PS2.I have however, gotten corrupted save files numerous times for Hitman 2 on Gamecube.

It happened to me twice, not just one game but one whole memory card. It was my fault though, I tried to move the files from the MC to my FD. And when I tried to move them back WHAM!!! a whole lot of corrupted files.

NeverSometimes I think my good old PS2 will die every second but it happened never(It just makes strange sounds sometimes....)

My PS2 has never had that disc read error problem with any game except my cousin's.Hack game. I have the slim PS2 too.

one of my little cousins came over and shut the ps2 off while it was saving nfs uderground 2 data and ruined my best account.

I've had corrupted data only twice with Tekken 5. It sucked both times because I managed to get my niche guys as Tekken Lords and had to do it all over again.

it has happened to me 2 times once when i was saving a game and a power out happened and the second i was mid game pulled the memory card out put it back in then tried to save and it said the data was corrupt.
