yes i care about the graphics because it makes the gameplay experience more enjoyable.... but i think that a good game is based on gameplay in general and a good storyline

Although graphics aren't everything, they are still important. I'd rather have a bad graphic GBA game, than a bad graphic PS2 game.

i personally don't care about the graphics as long as the story and characters are cool, i think the atmosphere is more important than graphics

For me, the most important part of a game is the story line. That's why I prefer older games. In newer games, they focus so much on graphics that alot of the stories are short. This means that alot of newer games can be completed in under ten hours. I remember when at the end of the game your character would be level 70, at least. I find that in newer games you can get through them with your character at level 30.I do like improved graphics, but not if it's going to cause short or bad stories.

Graphics matter to me some. Like if my people look like marshmellows (sp?) stacked on toothpicks when i know the machine has much more capability. Then it matters to me. Of course I still play text games sometimes. Fun is fun.

Well, duh, of course I care. But I'd rather play a game with terrible graphics but a good story (i.e. FF7, even though it's not GBA ) than a game with great graphics but a terrible story. Really, as long as the game itself is good, I don't care as much about graphics.
