depending on the story the graphics dont really matter. besides if the game you are playing is good and you like it, the graphics i think should be icing on a cake.

of course ff, pokemon, monster rancher and shaman king would rock if its graphics would compete with ps2 games so I say yes graphics really make a point in the game but for its ok as long as its GBA

Sometimes having a game with great graphics is not the "hot-stuff" to see if it is a good game or not; or just a game to play once and throw it away.But in other cases for example:Final Fantasy VI from SNES -> Guys that ended that game would like to try GBA or PSOne version.but several here will know, that you will try first the PSOne version because it has several CG videos to enhance the game experience.What do you all think about this?

The main part to a game is gameplay, so if it doesn't have good gameplay it will suck. Sure graphics are nice, but this is the main reason we still play the old games.
