gameplay makes the game. the garphics are second in line.

Good graphics are usually what catches my attention at first, but good storyline and gameplay is what keeps that attention and turns it into wanting to play the game for more than the first 2 hours. There are some exceptions, of course - I played FF7 despite the polygonal-pain because everyone said the story was great, and I still love it to bits. So while graphics are important, they come second to playability and story, IMO.

Of corse i do. But like the PS3 you can go way too far. Its the gameplay that counts.

For me, it's a culmination of things that make me want to play a game. Sure it could have awesome gameplay, but I'm very visual and I'd like to see the best. But of course I'm not talking about next generation type graphics, but you know, good enough.

Ya, but you need to be able to see the game for it to be good, don't you? It's like comparing Gears of War to Goldeneye. Both are fun, but one of them has way better graphics. That's the one you want to play.Don't know if anyone's pointed this out yet, but isn't graphics like the first thing you talk about with anyone when discussing the game?

For me graphics are important, when they are bad my eyes hurts and some details can be missed because of the poor quality.

I care about the graphic. Sometimes no matter how fun the gameline is, but you just can't see the characters it really stinks

For me I do care about the graphics, cause if it's bad then I can't really concentrate on the game and it hurts my eyes too
