I don't care too much about graphics, unless they really suck or are necessary for the game.

huhu, sad to say, having a poor eyesight, I easily get my eyes tired with detailed graphics. I usually stick with low graphics

^You're quite wrong there. I couldn't care less about pretty graphics. Don't get me wrong...I certainly appreciate a game if it looks good, but it MUST have good gameplay or the game is worthless. It can be the prettiest game on the planet but if it plays like crap then the graphics are worthless. If you have a game that is fun as hell to play yet doesn't have the best effects or graphics, then what the heck does it matter?...It doesn't change that it's fun to play in the least. Some of the funnest games I've ever played are from the old NES and SNES era when graphics weren't that great.There is nothing that pisses me off more to see some younger gamer talk about an old classic for the NES or SNES or older and say "I can't play that because the graphics don't look good." Seriously, kids...get over your pretty current games, get your heads out of your behind and enjoy the games because they're FUN TO PLAY. Better graphics do NOT make a game better...Stevo

Graphics do have a small effect on how much I like a game. If the graphics interfere with the playability, then they concern me; like if something doesn't look dangerous but actually is, or if the camera angle is so screwed up that you can't see some nasty surprise just waiting to impale you. But also, I find it hard to enjoy games that don't have good special effects (coughcoughTacticsOgrecoughFinalFantasyTacticsAdvancecoughcough). I enjoy a good game with flashy bursts and beams, random messages popping up that say FATAL DAMAGE or LETHAL BLOW, fast paced animations, and things like that. But maybe that's just the child in me. ;D

Graphics are a nice plus but they don't have to be the main focus: it's better a game with crappy graphics but a solid gameplay and an interesting story, than a flat game with outstanding graphics

Depends.I'm OK if the graphics don't stress the system too much, but if the graphics differ significantly from the power of the system (ex. NES graphics on a N64 game), then yes, I do really mind.I'm OK with blocky 3D.

I think graphics nowadays are to the point that I don't really care anymore. Most games look at least decent, so if they're fun, I'll play em.

gba is last gen now... nds graphics obviously better. but handheld is about gameplay newaybut yeah it all raelly depends on the game!

I really care about the graphics of the game. if its good, ok. but if it is bad, 50-50 for me. It also depends in the story or the plot. and also the game itself.I'm really picky. I most likely to pick adventure and strategy games, it's really fun and addicting, lol.

Graphics to me is pretty important. I tend to not bother playing any games that have terrible graphics. I can deal with semi-poor graphics, as long as the story or gameplay is awesome.

Graphics are nice and all but they arn't what makes a game good.if a game has the greatest graphics it's not necisarily the best game.i'd prefer crappy graphics with awsome gameplay

Graphics should matter, yeah.but.graphics cant make the game. Pong, Pac-Man, Dig-dug, are all epic. [: and their graphics arent exactly new.

Sure, graphics are a big part of a game, but I won't buy one just because they're better than those of a different game. Of course, it's very distracting if they're absolutely terrible, but anything above NES is bearable.Haha...that rhymed.I agree with Mr. Reaper. There are tons of games that have subpar graphics, but are still great. And likewise, there are awful games with great graphics, too.

graphics is important, but if the game is not intresting even with great graphics, our hearts decide its good or bad. (im sorry if some people cant understand this)
