If teh story is goodthe game play is goodif you can reconize the thingsand if you like the game...I dont care about graphics..i only do if they are pretty ones i can look at for days without getting bored

If its a next gen game, of course! but if its a classic, you cant complain.However, I do like to see motion blur.

I prefer the 32-bit graphics from the SNES era. When ported to the GBA games like that fill me with nostalgia and an appreciation for the classics.

To me graphics mean close to nothing compared to gameplay. A game could look beautiful and realistic but be really boring.

In my opinion, graphics are kind of secondary. If the game mechanics are good enough, I don't really care about the graphics. But if the game mechanic is bad or boring, the graphics have to be any good, or else no one would play...

ROFL final fantasy mystic quest!!! I agree graphics dont really mean crap if the game play and story are great.Piss on good graphics. If the game plays well and has a great story, the graphics could be that of... of... FINAL FANTASY MYSTIC QUEST! >_<
but...if the graphics are like yu yu hakusho:spirit detective...yaa sorry even I'll have problems playin that damn thing

I used to not care much about the graphics until I played children of mana (i think it was) on nds...The artwork was horrible, so i quit immediately...

Yeah, pretty much. The artwork is as important as the storyline, the graphics must match how great the plot is. How would you be able to survive playing the game when the artwork doesn't satisfy you?

Graphics is very important, however I would rank gameplay a bit above it, mostly because I'm not focusing too much on what the pictures look like.
