Since SquareEnix is remaking all of Final Fantasy games, do you think Chrono Trigger is far behind? Is there a SNES Emu that will work with the M3 Lite? Thanks,Clonedpoop

there are quite a few of them that play it, problem is that they dont have sound and the text is all messed up, so its really working but playable.and people have been asking for a new chrono game for years, while they keep on releasing and releasing final fantasy.Chrono trigger=Radical dreamers=Chrono cross=????

Square make enough money off the Final Fantasy series so they got no reason to go back to their successful roots sadly. They don't realize how much more money they could make if they remade games like chrono trigger and final fantasy 7 for DS.But thats off topic@clonedoop-Like dbgt said. There are too many glitches that makes it a waste of time to play.U'd be better off using a snes emulator on ur PC.

I agree, they should re-release Chrono Trigger or release a sequel to Chrono Cross! =D

I wouldn't be surprised to see Chrono Trigger remade... They've already made remakes of almost every FF game from the 16-bit era, so it would make sense for Chrono Trigger to be the next game to get revamped... I just hope that Square Enix decides to re-release sooner rather than later.

yeah but Square Enix probably just think that Final Fantasy gives a better market, 'cos theres not that many people who havn't heard of Final Fantasy, and far less who know about Chrono Trigger. So im not saying "no, youre wrong, im right, no CTDS" but i just dont know if Square Enix will be botherd to focus on it really.

i doubt suqare enix would do it now, even though they are remaking all of the final fantasies. I loved this game though and i think it would be cool if they remade it

Well, that's true that Squex could make an effort and release his old successes on DS: Chrono Trigger and even Seiken Densetsu or Sa-Ga.....but, yeah, they prefer do it with the FF (like the FFI&II release on PSP for the saga 20th birthday....somehow useless.). Furthermore, it would be pretty easy, cause the game is already done, it only needs to be copied on a DS card.....but, yeah, wait&see...

I just forgot to say that, even if playing CT on DS would be really cool, ot would be even better so have a full remix like it was done for FFIII; not especially a 3D game, but a use of the 2 screens. And cr0n0_triger, you can already play CY on the Wii, as it was added to tje catalog of old online games you can downloas (not 100% sure, put all the FF have already benn added).

I'd love for them to give Chrono Trigger the Final Fantasy III treatment, remake the whole game in 3D.Hell just releasing it on the DS in an SNES port fashion (with the top being a map) I'd be ecstatic.

Chrono Trigger was awesome and much better than Chrono Cross on PS ( story line ), that was more a sliced dimension issue, while Chrono Trigger was indeed a time travelling adventure. While I see $quare want to win money over the DS, I don't see they want to work seriously, sicne they turned backs to Nintendo on the way to N64, to bring back those 16 bit memories, they should bring back mario RPG ( snes) also. Square like to produce 3D movies more than make great games, they usually work more on the make up than on game play. I feel very sad for them, but they brought good thigns like seiken densetsu series back to life recently.

it'd be amazing if they did. FFIII worked out well; but, yeah, even a port would be nice.pretty much all of the emulators either cant get the sound to work, or the text is gone. so, not really playable, per-say.

I would LOVE to see a remake of Chrono Trigger, like the FF III onefor DS. I don't doubt that there are tons of fans who want the same thing.I think SquareEnix should do this.

I don't think most of u know about this. But there was a project called chrono trigger:resuruction which involved a bunch of guys remaking chrono trigger for the pc with 3d graphics and revamped sounds. But square caught up with them and cancelled their developmentThey reached as far as Zenan bridge and battle with zombor.Sadly it wasn't meant to be.Square is evil, they won't do a remake and they won't let other do it either. So it'll be a big miracle if square decide to ever release chrono trigger again.

it would be cool to remake chrono trigger, better graphics, etc, but since it isn't final fantasy, square might just might possibly do it in like 10 years from now lol, id rather they do remake this game for da DS rather than make games like FF X-2 or FF:CC or dirge of cerberus, etc (not dat they were terrible games but this is chrono f'n trigger we're talkin about here)

I'd love to see a new Chrono game. I LOVED both of the previous ones. Cross didn't feel to me like it had any place whatsoever in the Chrono Trigger universe... felt like a completely, drastically different world entirely. But that didn't keep the game from being amazing. Remember the painted realm in Cross? That was awesome.Anytime they release another Chrono, I'll be first in line.

Based on how the m3 loads up SNES roms that are translated into .gba extension games, any .gba game file greater than 4MB will not work. The built-in local RAM that is used is what the m3 software loads the rom into. if the game size is larger than the built in RAM (4MB) then it won't load properly, if at all. Hopefully the m3 crew fixes this problem because it's a serious claim they're not honouring. they probably have fine print somewhere that exempts them but you get my point.
