Oh man, I have all the characters maxed out with their fourth weapons and everything unlocked on DW5+XL. And I still play it, if I get bored of using overpowered characters I just switch to destiny mode. I must have gotten at least over 2000 hours on that game. I would buy a ps3 just for DW6. It's not that it's a particularly stunning and original game. But it's just damn fun, especially when you need to blow off some steam.

i like it cuz of the stories around the characters. my favorite characters would be guan ping and zhao yun

i have 4,XL4,empire 4 ,5 and XL 5.Now looking forward dynasty warrior 6 but don have money to buy a ps3.(sad)

I have DW 4 and 5, the Empires and Xtreme Legends for both games as well as SW 2 and i think it's SW2: Empires. I've Warriors Orochi too. 
The game's repetitive, but it's fun to hear what the characters say when they meet each other. :3 I'm waiting for DW6 to come out, and when it does, I'll buy it first, THEN buy a PS3.

DW5 is great fun in breaks at college, plug in to the TV and off you go, the ultimate who can mash buttons the most competition.

I really loved the series. I started on the DW3 like 4 years ago and I finished off DW 5 recently, maybe last summer.

i have dynasty warriors 3 and it is still one of my favorite games for ps2 despite its fogging effects and repetative game play

I have Dynasty warriors 4 empires trust me the game is awesome because your the ruler make your own army create your own character plus you get to recruit other characters. man that game is the bomb!
