Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin. It really took a new twist on Castlevanias. Had some interesting characters. A perfect game.

Okay, I know that this topic has been done many times, with redirects to the [GAMES] Recommended Nintendo DS Games thread. However, I think that someone's favourite game may be very different from a recommended game, as it is their personal opinion, not swayed by somebody else saying that it is an excellent game (or not). It is also different to a "Best game" topic, as that informs members of the high quality of a game, superior to any other NDS game. Your favourite game could be extremely simple gameplay-wise, have bad graphics, but be incredibly fun, making it your favourite. However, if a mod (or reporter) still thinks that this should be closed, go ahead. I trust in your decisions.Anywho, if this stays open, please note that:Your post must include a reason for why the game you have specified is your favourite. Anything less and GPs will be deducted.

My favorite game is Brain training as i am totally addicted to suduko. can't help my addiction

I like the two castlevania games that came out on it. I like the Castlevania games because the storylines are often interesting and there are always bonus features after you beat the game. Always more than one, too. Replayability is a good aspect in video games as far as I'm concerned.

Kind of depends on the game that I'm currently playing. I like Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan (japanese elite beat agents), phoenix wright, ygo spirit caller, castlevania, and for multiplayer I like mariokart and metroid prime. So it kind of depends, yeah :D

My favourite is Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan!, because I love bemanis and having a bemani game for the DS is great! Not only you have to follow the rhythm, but also the dot pattern. But, lately, I discovered "Nanostray", a spaceship shooter which impressed me because of its graphics. The game uses very well all the graphical capabilities of the NDS. Also, it is a good game, and quite difficult (which I like).

My favorite game right now is the Advanced Wars: dual strike. It's a very addictive strategy game. You have to combine diff units together and use its strenghts/weakness to back each other up and also it takes some thinking because it's a turn strategy based game. Sometimes one mistake lead you to a loss. It does kinda get repetitive after awhile however (battles also take a long assed time) so I alternate it with other simpler games

Phoenix Wright, FTW!Seriously though - I like the game because I never thought a game about lawyers could be interesting, and boy was I wrong. It's got an excellent storyline and excellent characters - and to me, that's like.. #1 priority in a game.

My favorite game is Trauma Center: Under The Knife. I think that using the touch screen for surgery was an innovative idea, and i want to b a doctor so this is the closest i can get to actual surgery.

I have just recently gotten into some Japanese imports. I've stayed away from them because I was afraid of the Japanese text--big mistake. I'm currently loving: Jump Ultimate, Bleach and Front Mission 1st. Front Mission is awesome in the fact that it is a portable FM game but the only Japanese only text is the story, all the rest is in English or both.
