if u buy wow say good bye to your life......... j/k~~it's a pretty good game i guess, i have alot of friends who play/ed it, and i seem them play for a year or 2. Honestly, i think it's one of the best MMO out there, but i just don't wanna play it because i know i'll get addicted and can't focus on anything else.~Kon

It's an addictive game. Perhaps you should buy the trial version (if its available where you are) and try it out first. It is pretty fun and involves less grinding than other games I've played. but get used to seeing the same monster just in different colours and prefixes/suffixes. Making stuff is pretty fun and gives you more incentive to explore so you can get those ingredients/ores/fabrics/hides/herbs that you need for the new item you just learnt how to make. Thats all from me.

i don't think you should unless you want to pay the extra 5 bucks every month. you would want to comtinually play it so you wouldnt waste your money. but if your rich then go ahead and buy it, then continue playing leisurely

You have to realize though, when you buy an online game you're making an investment, WOW is a good game and you'll get fun out of it if you're into that kind of game. So think about it, look at other mmorpgs and then make your decision. No use wasting money on something you aren't going to play or enjoy. But no sense not spending money on some that you will play and enjoy.

you should buy it if the money doesnt matter as much. In my opinion, if 5 dollars a month can make you happier than say if you spent it on something else then go ahead and buy it.

I would say not . i know there are alot of people playing it out there . but no offense , Its just a waste of money . Games should be something that can make you happy and free . you already paid for the internet service to your ISP , and the game CD to Blizzard , why must you pay for the game when you are playing ? get other games !

I have WoW, as well as the Expansion and I love the game. Only problem with it is that the game is still heavily based around PvE. You can get some nice gear while PvP'ing, but in the end it won't compare to the gear you can get from the latest dungeons.I want to try out Warhammer, 'cause it's pretty much a PvP only game.

WOW is a really fun game to play when you have free time and can get pretty addicting. The only downside to the game is having to pay monthly but its really not that much to pay.

it will suck your sould. literally. i found my friend one day at his computer cause he didnt come to school and, well, lets just say that you can see ghosts better. he was so pale, and he didnt move. cold to the touch. he wasnt even playing any more. he had lost all ability to do anything. i didnt have the heart to move him even, and so there he sits to this day. that was 2 years ago.one time... i thought i even saw him running around on my brother's WoW screen... very creepy. but now im worried the same fate awaits my brother

Its a pretty cool game, bt after about a month of hardcore gamin i got bored, everythin was samey and repetivie 'go kill these gnolls in the swamp land' 'go kll these gnolls in dwarf land' i recommend it for a quick hype but otherwise i wouldnt waste my life on it- it takes too much time

Eeeek my brother's comming he must not see me typing this! ok i don't think WoW is a good idea to play because since my brother started playing this he became more mean and rude than ever , he is very obsessed with it and the worst is that you gotta pay every month!!! It slow me down in the things im doing while he plays and he keep swearing and hit me etc... I don't say you gotta stop playing that but if you have a brother/sister or else playing this watch how he acts since he plays and you'll realize...

If you really don't like WoW, then get yourself to it. Problems are problems and they cannot be undone. The mods will close this because this has no relation to the PC section.

I agree, It CAN be addictive, but in reality, anything can be addictive. Everything in moderation, even moderation as the saying goes.

i've played wow for well over a year now. its addictive but really depends on how you approach it. personally while i've played over a year its been off an on and while you do pay a monthly fee, its not bad compared to constantly getting new games to play.

Your brother is immature and mentally underdeveloped, because he takes his frustration out on those around him. He must stink at WoW, but I agree with you, it is bad. You play and play, believing you're accomplishing something, but you're only paying money into Blizzard's bank account and wasting your own time and effort. It's great if you make a few friends, but if getting beaten makes your attitude take a turn for the worse, then I'll be pointing the way to a shrink. ^_^Try explain to him sometime that he's calm and not busy, that he's been cruel and horrible to you since he started playing and that you want him to stop taking it out on you because you haven't done anything. You could also ask him WHY he does the things he does - if they are fair? If he doesn't care what's fair and what isn't, tell your parents/guardian about it all. <_<
