I think warcraft in general is a bunch of american junk, WoW is boring and you must pay for that who makes things worse, I prefer Playing GOOD GAMES like Ragnarok or Warlords Battlecry saga

WoW is trash, I can't believe people pay for it. Lineage 2, however, I could shell out some money for, the problem being is my lack of funds at the moment.

personally WoW, although it has an enormous community is a relatively simple MMO, EQ2 and Lineage2 are alot more intricate, although they do have lesser communities, its really up to whether you want a simple or complex game experience.

If you want to see your grades drop then buy it. Beware as it is like smoking. Once you start it's almost impossible to quit.

WoW is a great game, but unless you want to lose hours of your life, dont buy this game. also, if you think you can manage your time playing then its probobly alright. but consider this a WARNING that you may get addicted and lose countless hours and later realize how much time you've wasted.

Statistics show that reality is better for you. Hanging out with your friends in person is much better than over the internet. Don't turn into my suitemates.

Even if your a casual gamer, you'll still end up wasting away your life with WOW....To get anywhere decent at anyone session is like at least 3hrs...So if wanna be a higher tier player than count your life good bye....

Eh. It's addictive, but I find myself getting bored of it a lot. If you have the money and want to waste some time, sure, I'd reccomend it, especially now that summer is starting up.

Rogues are a lot of fun. I like Gnome Rogues especially, engineering is a nifty toy and the whole character type is interesting to me.

in myopinion, definately not...no game is good enough to pay $15/month for. its just not worth it...money is better spent elsewhere. and wow will totally eat up your time.

Have any of you people ever heard of private servers before? You don't need to pay a thing to play WoW. At all. Just find a copy of the old WoW client somewhere on the web, download it, install it, then patch it up to the version that the private server you want to play on is at. In the long run, you won't ever need to pay a dime.If you want to play a server that's just like the Blizz ones, then look for a Blizz-like server. If you want to level fast, get gold fast, and good items fast, then look for a Fun server.

I think you should try, most of the people in my networking lab (I go to a vocational school) play it and want the rest to join in, i've been thinking about it, I think I might do it myself, if you don't want to pay to play, you can sign up for services like gaming lagoon and do surveys and offers and stuff

If you like games that are in-depth, then absolutely yes. WoW is not exactly a hack and slash game, though that is part of it, so if you are the patient type it is great.Pros: Great customization of characters, practically infinite replay value, great PvP, some really awesome items if you are the type of person who likes to get the best of the best in equipmentCons: Money and time consuming beyond belief. If you aren't going to play it alot, then why bother shelling out for it?That is essentially the crux of the matter. If you are going to be the kind of person who spends an hour a night or more on the game, then absolutely its worth even the price they ask. How much would it cost to go out and play billiards each night for an hour? Certainly more than WoW. If you are only going to play it once a month, then it just doesn't justify the cost no matter how good a game it is.

WoW is great when you first start playing it, but when you hit 70 and endlessly grind for gear in end game raids or endlessly pvp it gets boring, and making an alt is sickening to me :/

I voted no, but if you do get it, reach 70, stop playing for a bit, then make a new character to 70.I had WoW, and I'm glad I've stopped playing. It got boring (I got to 64 on my Warrior :-/)
