I tried it once or twice, and it just didn't do it for me. The gameplay was boring, and it wasn't really good to look at either.

Cause maybe it could be nice anywayz you hav to be good to get addicted

i play, and its not addicting. its more of a question of your own character(you as a person, notas a toon). if u get addicted, thats just u, not a generilized effect. i myself can control the game. its very fun to play and u can stop anytime u want. wen u think ur getting addicted just get off, that simple, its apc game, not nicotine.

Well it is nessesary if you want to reach lvl70 since wow has a lvl60 cap you also get to go to a new place called Outlands. It's a nice expansion and it also give you the choice of 2 new races.

I've heard its a very nice expansion, but that it would only be wise if your character were around a 'nicer' level (ex: 63). However, if you a die-hard WoW fan, go for it. If its going to make you happy, it'll be worth your while.

There was this person who plays World of Warcraft 4 hours a day plus he has to go to work... There are those that are worse... Don't play WoW because if you do somehow get addicted, you're screwed, and it's not worth the risk.

Couple of the friends I've made through years of gaming got hooked. I never got so bad but that was mainly because they had a time difference that was really inconveniant in regards to both playing with them and renewing my subscription (I had to purchase the US version, quit shortly after BC came out because of work and Uni just burning me out).

There comes a point in the game (generally around level 45 or so) when it becomes increasingly difficult and frustrating to solo. The game can get very boring if you don't have any friends on the same server.

Only my first MMO was addictive. I played FFXI religiously, but it started being less of a game and more of just... work.I play WoW now, and it's a lot less grinding and much more quests. If anything, playing WoW made me a more peaceful MMO gamer than FFXI ever did. Wasting 8 hours in a game just to kill caterpillars over and over can make somebody pretty grumpy...

Initially I would have disagreed with you, as WoW is/was a good game. However, there is little end-game content beyond powerlevelling guildies, raiding, or lots of pvp, and the level 70 raids take several hours to complete. As well as that, in the recent patch they nerfed several classes, which is very annoying, but at the end of the day, unless you have a lot of time to play the game, its a waste of money if you intend to play to the endgame, since all that work getting levels up will have been for little, there is little casual content how for the high level player, but until then, depending on what server you are on, there is plenty for the low level player, so, at first, it may not be, but later on if you dont have a lot of time, it may turn out to be a waste of money overall.

Its a good expansion in terms of content, however I would say that if you are a lowbie player, wait for a while, because there isnt much that can be done at that level. Also, I find since then, high level playing is all about raiding and gear, nobody from the guilds at a high level wants to help the lowbie, just raid raid raid, and so thats something you have to consider...However, if you are a big fan of the game, go for it :)

They ruined a lot of things with it. PvP arena gear is too good and removes incentive to PvE raid. PvE should be the best for PvE and PvP so people will actually spend time experiencing the content instead of just an our a week in an arena for easy epics.

It was good for the first 2 years, but the changes they made with the expansion aren't too hot. PvE needs to be their main focus and items should reflect that. Easymode PvP arena epics ftl.
