I wouldn't say it's dying, but i doubt it will gain anymore new players when the new expansion comes out, just because the old players would be years ahead of anyone who get into it for the new expansion. The new players would just get raped.

well see the point that makes WoW addicting is where you have hate for a different faction and some people even laugh when they kill a enemy. Its common sense to let hatred go in a video game its still only a video game right???

i disagree by a ton the new guild wars is lv 100 0-0 thats a lot of lvsim gonna say yes just because with games like guild wars that has amazing graphics and storyline where WoW is mostly a "grind till your board game". with not that exicting new content it is one of the oldest boring, most popular games

I played it for a couple of years, got really skilled.... then got my grades back for first semester freshman year of college, and gave all my 4 accounts and 5 70s away.I am now experiencing what is known as: this withdrawal from WoW sucks... I'm gonna go smoke a cigarette.

With 2.4 out, I am now hopelessly addicted to honor... and finally some use for the damn marks besides buying crap pvp pots...
I got rid of my awesome sig to mention if you collect ToyFare, SCAN ALL THE TWISTED TOYFARE THEATRE THAT YOU HAVE AND UPLOAD IT TO MEDIAFIRE OR BITTORRENT.

Im gonna be honest the lvl cap to 80 is the only reason im gonna buy this expansion when it comes out and maybe to get a new look but half the time i got armour on so wtf do i need to do my hair for

I haven't been able to play it with the school year being a pain, but once summer hits I am going to level my 2nd hunter, and start the PvP grind to get enough gear to compete in the Heroics.

I agree totally, thats how I did my review on gamespot. I played WoW for well over 2 years, had 4 level 70s fully epic gear and a few 60s, epic mounts - was in a competitive arena team and raided but its old now, and Blizzards expansion rollout is way too slow to compete with all the new MMo's coming out this year, Age of Conan, Warhammer Online and APB will all steal large population from WoW.This game is an amazing game fun to play untill you have 2 70's after that the game just sucks i have a flying mount on both and PvP is old now they need to have something new cant wait for wraith of the lich king its ganna be amazing for my lock when im a death knight class upgrade WOOT but they need to put more in for low levels because the lvl 1-30 quests get old really fast!!!!

WoW is kinda on a slippery slope to destruction, seeing that how long can they keep making new items for arena seasons... and once Lvl 80s starts running around... there goes the good old BC instances... and once again PVP is still horribly stagnant...Not sure how much longer WoW can last... their creativity team is really over worked...Bard Class = WINBard > DK anyday... unless you wanna count that guitar playing arthas model in WC3

There is no current release date planned last I remembered. Also, the release is likely to be the same globally. Chances are the expansion will be $50.
