You're right, homosexuals can still marry the opposite gender. But that's not the point. Homosexuals, are prohibited from marrying the same gender as they are. When you're trying to make an arguement, try to not have it as useless as "Gays can still marry. Just, not with eachother."

Blood relatives cannot marry each other but can marry others. Homosexuals cannot marry each but can marry others. That was the point of my response to Mariposa Chiquita's post. If gays are lacking 'basic legal rights' by being prohibited from marrying one another, then perhaps blood relatives are also lacking basic legal rights. Which is why I wanted to know why blood relatives should be prohibited from marrying, but homosexuals should be allowed to marry.That is not part of my argument at the moment.

HELL NO!!!! First of all, people need to know and accept what they are. Just because you are attracted to kids, it doesn't mean it's ok. It's disgusting and unnatural, I mean, how can you love someone of the same sex like there's something wrong with the other sex or it isn't good enough for you. Enough said.

I believe that one should love someone of the opposite sex. That's the way is was meant, as the only way people can reproduce is between a man and a women. If two guys could, then sure, why not? I just have strong feelings against gay people

I am so sick and tired of people saying that gay marriages shouldn't be allowed!!They are perfectly fine.Nothing is wrong with people who are gay.I'm not gay, and never will be. But not allowing someone to get married because they like thingsthat are different to what you like isn't fair..Its liek saying gamers cant use computers but researchers can for the purpose of the good of the world.

Your problem seems to be that guys can't reproduce, and therefore shouldn't marry. What about infertile straight men or women? They can't reproduce, so should they be banned from getting married?I'd like to know why the people who are so against gay marriage think it's any of their business whether two strangers who are in love shouldn't be allowed to marry? Gay people cannot help being gay anymore than I can help being straight. Why shouldn't they be allowed to marry? If they love somebody and want to spend the rest of their life with them then that is their business and has nothing to do with me. In saying that we have something like gay marriages here in the U.K. all ready and the world hasn't ended yet...

Gay marriage should definitely be allowed. I think the whole god issue isn't that big of a deal, god wanted us to go forth and multiply when there were very few people on earth and we may have died out. I think he would approve of gay marriage because homosexual couples often adopt, and there are way too many abandoned and unloved children in the world.

What does that have to do with marriage? The main purpose of marriage is not for sex, and banning gay marriage has no effect on gay sex...heeeeell no becouse when a man and a woman have sex the parts have to fit
