Well. It's hard to say if there should be more really!Nintendo need to think up some fresher ideas for the Pokémon series. It's fast getting tedious, but it is still good...I can't believe I'm saying that, but it IS still decent. More PKMN is going to be a bit of a pain, because at the end of the day, many will be identical in stats, just a different appearance.
Do you think 493 pokemon are enough?

i think that 450 is far too mush, pokemon was cool with 150 but with all these hybrid/look-alike pokemon things have gotten worse

I think 493 might be a few too many.I'd say 300 should of been the limit.But even with 150 it was still annoying since you had to trade all the pokemon.

it doesn't really matter how much pokemon they create though as long as the pokemon aren't made up animals like a table pokemon or a house pokemon something like that

I wish they would add more MOVES instead of more pokemon, it seems like every pokemon I find is identical.. Tackle and growl. :-)

i wish they would make a pokemon that was more like a traditional RPG like the Final fantasy games.I find my self only needing to use one move with each pokemon and it makes the game boring

I think 493 pokemon is far too many. 250 was a good number. Still hard to get them all but it was possible without a couple of years of work.I agree. They should make it more like an ordinary RPG so that it's not only the pokemon that matters but the moves. I also think you should be able to have more than 4 moves.

i think that its ok while it doesnt get repetitive because they are making very similar pokemons than the ones wich were already maden...so for me its enough

I dont think the 493 pokemon are enough, because there is a lot of creatures(aliens+), object and animals they can still make.I would love to see a braquiosaurio as a pokemon (it will be really nice) or one of those strange fish on the bottom of the sea...I mean there is plenty they can make (the day they make the pencil pokemon, that they it will be enough)

if you think about it this way if you get more pokemon you get more maps and islands which could affect the gampley (travelling between islands) but there is also the point that some would be useless. so i think there should but to a certain limit

i would have expected more in diamond and pearl, they only added about 110
