i think they will make up to 1000 pokemon and the pokemon they wil lmake will be from outer space like clefairy and that red and blue pokemon

I think 150 was enough. After that, Pokemon went downhill for me, especially with the breeding and mixing. They are tirelessly expanding something that is done and played out.

The more there are, the less of a chance there is of people memorizing all of them. In my opinion, that was their goal from the beginning.

omg, there are 493 now?! geez, thats a lil crazy. i rekon all the new pokemon are looking more and more like common animals - - their creators are loosing their imagination! (either that or are getting lazy/ or have realised that creating 493 pokemon is a joke and have just given up). i think they should just stopped at the second generation. i mean, even that was pushing it a little - - afterall, they had been drilling it in our heads for so long that there were only 150 pokemon +mew. they must stop the madness! who can remember half the pokemon now anyway?

They should have stopped at 150, though the new gear/item pack was a nice idea. I actually managed to recognize all 150 Pokemon on sight at one time.

There are too many pokemon. i remeber my me and friends having competiotions naming all the pokemon. i cant even get through 1/2 of them now becasue their are so many. it gets so boring trying to get all the pokemon in diamond and pearl. it ruins the game. but. i think they are adding pokemon becasue it makes the show more entertaining.

No I think 493 is enough the more pokemon the harder and slower to catch them all and if you had more you would need to trade some more and that would cause you more trouble (well to me ).

Well, sort of. In general, the newer ones seem to look more bleh-ish to me. D: Any amount of pokemon would be alright with me as long as there's a good looking one in each generation. O;And, you get to collect them all. O; If you were up to it.

The original 150 were all reasonably different from each other and had different abilities so you could chop and change, then they added like 100 more, and some of them were different, but the diversity really is lacking now, there just the same things, but looking slightly different.

493 Pokemon is more than enough... they should've stopped at 300 or so. The last few Pokemon are desperate additions for more. They're starting to get lazy and much less creative.

When they had 251 Pokemon, back in the days of Gold/Silver/Crystal, Pokemon was at the pinnacle of its career. Now it's just sloppy seconds all the time. The GSC games were fantastic, by far the best Pokemon games I've ever played.
