I only fought them once with Link. It was a difficult fight for me but was able to beat them with my last life.

Yeah they are hard, but not impossible. I've probably beat them 3 times at 3 different times of my life. I think I used Samus every time. Although I seem to remember winning with Roy once. I don't know how I did that though. But Samus has several moves that continually hit the hands. And she's graceful, so it is easier to dodge.

The Double Hands arent actually all that hard, depending who you choose.The best characters to beat him with bout be Marth, because of his extreme speed, Roy, because of his power, Captain Falcon, because of hi speed and 50/50 power, and you could say Donkey Kong or Bowser, because of their high ability of power.Using Marth would be to use the B + Up move to dodge most of their attacks, instead of using R or L to dodge, because if you dodge one hand usually the other strikes. Also Counter would be a great help.Using Roy would pretty much be the same as using Marth, use B + Up, and use Counter whenever possible. But because of his speed try to use Hit and Run attacks instead of Attacking, and just dodging.Using Captain Falcon is just to use the B + Down move and his B + Left/Right move whenever you find yourself stuck in the sky. Also using the B Move can help win the fight, just dont use it too often.Using Donkey Kong or Bowser would be great, as long as you were good with them. If you cant fight with them at all, dont use them, its best to play with 1 or 2 characters, and stick with them for your gaming. But anyway, using Dk and Bowser is great but jsut continue using the B + Up move whenever the hands move to the center of the stage. Never use it when the move to the side, instead, use your A Power Attacks. Using the B + Up near the side could get you shot off the stage with no way to bring yourself back, causing you to lose. Ive been playing this like an hour a day since it came to the N64, and i beated them with jigglypuff (i think thats the one its hardest to beat them with...)

Thankfully I have defeated both Hands at the same time, using Kirby or Ganondorf to do the job. A lot of maneuvering that's for sure. Your best bet is to lose several times and trace out the pattern of activities and pick a character that you're comfortable with dealing out damage to the Hands.

It depends on which part you are playing: There is an event match (# 50 i think) and there is classic when both hands come. Either wat I used Roy and defeated them after about ten tries. You need to use someone who can get back to the edge ( Falco Fox Link Zelda/Sheik) or someone with a move that can block all types of attacks (Marth Roy)98%of the teenage population will try, does or has tried smoking pot. I did it once with Mario, who isn't even my favourite character! (Kirby). It doesn't help that the background starts going crazy as time passes during the fight.

My brother and I have both beaten them with no trouble at all. It's just a matter of memorizing their patterns, and timing your blocks accordingly. It's really not hard at all.It took less than half an hour to finish the whole classic mode the first time. CPUs = easy pickings.

It was challenging, but I beat them. I forgot which character I beat them with, however. I probably used Roy, as he was my favorite character.

The two hands aren't so hard, you just need to know how to dodge. I actually beat the event against both of them with 1 life with Gannondorf (sp?) first.
