My oldest is Dragon Knight 1 (for PC98, I think). I had forgotten completely about it until I found it today when backing up data from my older CD-Rs before discarding them :lalala:

Well, I guess I have been beaten; stuff from the 80's is even before my time. But I should've expected that. To the guy with the games on floppy discs: I also own something named like "Super Mario Fun Gallery", and runs on three floppy discs. They wouldn't do that anymore :dan:And thanks for the feedback, everyone!

Hey, I've got Oregon Trail too! Apart from that, oldest thing I have is an old platformer/puzzle game called Chips. It's on floppy though, so I can't play it.

I meant NEC PC-9801 (I can't believe YOU of all people are asking this >.< ). It's a HDI image I backed up on a CD-R, I didn't buy it (The game used to sell even before I was born). ^_^ I use Anex86 emulator to run it.

Ahh, sorry. I was never introduced to that one somehow. I had never even heard of it until just now and that is kind of shocking even for me. But then I don't think they were ever imported into the US and I was 4 when they came out.

Wow! Chip's Challenge! I definitely remember playing that game years and years ago.I also had Oregon Trail. I remember one time I set the pace to "grueling" and set the meal mode to "bare bones meals." It kept asking me to slaughter oxen to keep my people alive, but I wanted to see how far I got without any food. Turns out my caravan managed to travel something like 600 miles before everybody perished and those little gravestones popped up.

Well that isn't very helpful as there were a LOT of air combat games for DOS. And except for some educational titles there was nothing with Mario in it for PC.

The oldest PC game I own (in a box, of course, like, original) is Ranx Xerox. Probably noone of you has ever heard anything about it, but it was a CGA game I've been given at Christmas, I believe, in the late eighties... probably 1987 or something. We had an 8086 @ 10 MHz w/hercules-CGA and of course no soundcard. I remember playing through it for an entire summer, being the only thing I had on that piece of junk with MSDos 3.30.Ah... those were the days.

He might have meant this. No idea about the aerial combat game tho.
