I know everyone who owns a 360 likes to unlock achievements and rack up points for their Gamercard, but what exactly does your Gamercard and score mean to you?I am CHOCOLATE 666 with 3120 points. I got my name because I screem Chocolate at school and the 666 part because its funny. As for my Gamerscore, I want people to see that I love to play video games. So, what does it mean to you?By the way, feel free to send me a friend request :D

To me it means nothing!!!!Its unfair to some beacause easier games can give you HUNDREDS of GS -eg King Kong, and harder games will give you little or take longer to aquire- -eg. Dead Rising and Oblivion.

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. My gamer score is in the hundreds or early thousands because I wanted to play Oblivion and Need for Speed Most Wanted single player. Other than that the only achievements that I ever unlock are the ones that I get online by complete accident. I dont look at my gamerscore nor do I care. I have the lowest gamerscore of all my friends and proud of it.

Gears of war is hands down the best game out right nowwhat it means to me is that the score ranks how good you are and how much skill you have

Nothing really. The score is just an after effect I don't really pay much attention to. (Other than noticing the extremes for someone else that is, ie, seeing that someone either rarely plays at all or someone does next to nothing other than sleep and play.)I personally do enjoy going after achievements, as it's simply another task to do in a game that, to me, increases the play time I can get from it...but the score itself I get from that achievement, don't really care. Also, I will agree with the guy who posted some messages above me, about how not all points are equal. You can easily get 10,000 from King Kong, TMNT, and the 06 sport games, or you can spend 100+ hours on Ridge Racer 6 or Oblivion just to get 1,000. (or now, 1,250 in Oblivion's case). That has probably contributed to my not caring about what my GamerScore number is.

Nothing at all.If anything, it just lets me know how many games I have beaten, so 16,000 out of 45 games..you do the math. :D-Tek

Some of the best players have the lowest gamerscores because all they play is MP and most points are earned in SP. Just because they have a low gamerscore doesn't mean they are bad, even though they probably are. I don't think gamerscores mean a whole lot.

Gamerscore means absolutely nothing to me. The only time I would even think about it is if I got bored and didn't have anything else to do. Wasting time trying to unlock achievements isn't exactly something I like to do. I want to enjoy the game, not worry about what I still have to unlock.

my gamercard is Gangstersnine and i have about 4500 gamer points. to me they show how exp. people are is certain games. We all now that games like king kong are easier then others. So i only compare points between the same game

it means absolutly nothing to me because the games vary in difficulty and so does the GS point distribution. somone who is good at games who seeks challenging games may have a lower score than another person who playes easy games to increase their GS.

I find the gamerscores to be useless. There just there for nerds who play to much to say "Look at me! I spent 50 hours of my life playing Gears of War!"

My gamer score really doesn't mean all too much to me. I've got no means to connect my 360 to XBL, or to my PC at the moment, so all it's doing is sitting on my 360 doing nothing, especially since I haven't played any games on it for over 2 weeks. =/
