Street Fighter was fun, but thats the only fighting game ive ever liked or played even.

i play on MUGEN a lot and have many different characters and i play for a hour about so im pretty addicted to fighting games

After reading this thread, I am reminded that there are people that aren't like my friends and myself. We play a LOT of fighting games, and the reasoning people give for disliking them are things I've never even considered. I mean, we play them in tournaments and play seriously. Like frame rates of games will affect how we play to a serious degree. I forget that other people just like to push buttons and have fun, which is totally opposite of what we do, but a different take on it is sort of a fresh breeze to our usual bout of seriousness.About what I play, my favorites are Tekken, Soul Calibur, and Street Fighter: Third Strike at the moment. I fade in and out of liking other ones, and I am really awful at 2D fighters. We definitely do not play on portable anything. ;p

fighting games are ok if you have someone to play them withI mostly play them because they're the only game i can play with my girlfriend(and the only games she can beat me at)

i think fighting games only work under certain conditions. i used to play fighting games by myself but then i went crazy with how boring they become. they are good to keep in case of a friend feud emergency. its a problem settler.

I love fighting games, but yea they do get repetitive i usually don't play them too often, when i get the game i play it to unlock all the characters etc. once that's done i really only play it if friends are round

I usually prefer the 2D fighters ever since I started playing Street Fighter way back in the day. Nowadays though, I love to play the Guilty Gear series of games as well as the cult hit Melty Blood series.

nah, I think they are boring. There are all the same, its just button mashing. I don't really think anyone can be really good or bad at them.

i love fighting games i like the soul calibur series it was awsome and i own at them 
but the GBA fighting games arent that good i mean one its choppy 2 the moves are limited and 3 half the time you get owned because you cant see your opponent or your opponent is to fast and because of the buttons you cant react fast enough (thats juss me prolly) but no the console i games i love another one you guys should try is dead or alive 2 very gd game and its not as cheap as most fighting games where the comp has like no health and then owns you cause you cant hit the ground when you fall

how can you be good at fighting games and not like them. i cant imagine someone playing all the time and getting good unless they find them fun

Fighting games are great, but they don't work well at all on GBA. You really need a controller w/ a joystick and at least 4 buttons for it to work well (not to mention a TV)
