omg you're a f :censored: ing n00b. i r0x0rzbut seriously, experimenting is the best way to learn, i tried those tutorials from dggrfx... and i didnt get anything out of themlearn the filters and use the blending options frequently (to get the blending options, right click the layer you want to do it to and choose whatever you think looks good)

dggrfx isn't exactly the best place to start learning photoshop from scratch. Just go to www.good-tutorials.comExperimenting is not the best way to learn, you'll get stuck at a certain skill lvl after a while and won't be able to progress any further without tutorials. And to cheapraymond, you have to have something to apply the lighting function and the glare on, like a background. Of course they won't work if you don't have anything to apply them on.

okay, i'm trying to make a background (big step, eh?) and i just want to know how you make a flat water like effect with ripples in the center of the screen and make a reflection-like effect. This is my plan:On top of the water, We have (from KH) Cloud, Squall, Sephiroth, and Sora in the center. In the reflection in the water, it will have them from their games, and Sora from KH2

ur best shot is to use a bittorrent client(best is probably azureus) and go to http://suprnova.org and go to search and put in 'photoshop' and the one that i got was 'Adobe Photoshop CS v8.0.Final + Crack' and it works. its 154mb and PRSBOY submitted it. PM me if you have problems with this.
