When i play to long i get a strange feeling in my eyes, and i get a headache (or how you write it, my english is not so good but i'm trying). And when i get one of those 2 things, its a signal for me, that i have to stop with playing.
Pain from playing?

times when I'm playing any console, my fingers go numb. I never really get eyestrain or anything like that involving the eyes from playing too much - I'm usually joined at the hip with my laptop almost 24/7, and I've been heavily on computers my whole life (LMAO I sound like a druggie) so they don't bother my eyes in the least. However, depending on how I'm sitting or laying with the ds, I might get neck pain. Especially if I try and lay on my stomach while playing it.

My neck gets to hurting if I play too long, though that's probably because my posture bites.For those out there: Hunched over your screens, staring at the little colored figures moving about, is not good for the neck...

After a while, my neck hurts and my eyes start to twitch uncontrollably (it sounds more horrible than it is) or start to hurt. So I lay down my DS and just rest awhile until it's past. One day I'll become a hunchback...

When i play Taiko no Tatsujin, my fingers will be very pain...=3= because the game is a music type game and you have to keep pressing the buttons, almost all the buttons at very fast speeds.. the tips of my fingers often become numb after playing for about 1 hour.Not so much of the eyes though, my DS is always at the lowest brightness so i can save the power while outside. ^^; but i do feel my eye degree going up....-w-

the only time I got hurt was playing Klonoa on my PSX; The bruise on my hand lasted for few days T_T

I played Dementium: The ward and afterwards, my fingers were aching since I was too tense from the zombies and stuff and I had to stop because my fingers are like cramping. I was using too much force on the buttons..
When the going gets tough, the tough goes shopping...

I have to say I dont think I have ever had a big problem using the DS but sometimes if I'm on there for a while I can get wrist strain but I have never had a headache or eye ache. Try not to hold the console to close drink plenty and take regular breaks looking away from screen, I usually have the TV on or something in he background so I look up from the screen every now and again or talk to people occasionally during play so your mind isn't totally on the game all the time that way the hours don't run away with you

Well.. i'm all new to the DS world .. and have only been playin Pokemon Platinum non-stop 
.. but when i play for a really long time (1+ hour) my wrist starts to hurt ..although, when i play any other gamin device that doesnt happen .. just legs go numb and hands go switty 
..as for the eye thing, it happens to me when i stop playin or look at the sky from my room window while playin :_ ..other than that.. no thing else hurts

Uh huh...! Not in eyes, not in fingers, but more on my back and then on my butt >_> I overdo it again. I keep playing game from morning till midnight.. Err kay morning(again). It's not very good... Maybe i should take a break from playing game.

I know I for one certainly have this problem. About a year or so ago it was so bad I actually went to my eye doctor. He diagnosed me with what he called Uveitis. Which is basically a sever inflammation of the middle layer of the eye. My doctor said it could be cause by any number of things in my day to day life and after some questioning determined it was most likely too much gaming and computing. As those can cause arthritis in people of my young age, and arthritis is one of the more common causes of Uveitis. I actually had to get a steroid injection in my eye after the medical eye drops didn't work. Very painful, I don't recommend it.

I laughed very hard after reading Syko Clown's post and then saw this one.But yeah, the neck thing happens to me as well, and sometimes I'll get a headache if I just woke up or am feeling blah.Sometimes my neck can hurt if I have it bent down.

I have the numbness of the hands problem. -_- I blame it on the original model DS's weighing as much as an infant... strapped to a brick. Or I'm just a weakling with weak girly wrists. lol I sooo want to upgrade to a DS lite because of this though. So yeah, if anyone with a DS lite & hands the size of the Hulk wants to trade for a mint condition, launch day DS with the box & Metroid Hunters demo & all...

If i play for along time, for whatever reason my eyes start hurting, but only if i move my head. And it only hurts on the sides, no anywhere else. So if I play ds for along time its like a trap.

Oh God, same thing happens to me. After snaking a lot, I'll get carpal tunnel and then my thumbs start getting VERY sensitive and I can't play Mario Kart for a few days.Snaking in Mario Kart DS kills my hands.
