I'd choose Swordman cuz its the strongest in terms of strength. I also like swordsman's armours and weapons. They're so darn cool.

Hmm... depends. In more classical RPGs, like the D&D editions, Magic is by fart he strongest of everything. Thief abilities are replicated by Spells like Knock, Find Traps, etc. They have the most damage potential, easily able to use even at first level spells that can autowin a fight. Compare with console and computer game RPGs though, it's completely flipped around. Take, a Final Fantasy Game. In most of them a warrior can do as much damage as a spell (More, if you count games like FF IV, where spells have a "Charge Time" longer than normal attacks so they get more shots in), for no Point Cost, so no need to stop to ether up or be a miser with the damage. That, and healing potions and such are generally so cheap you'll have a nigh unlimited stock before long, negating the need for a healer. So I'll go with Option E, Oddball classes. I like the classes that no one else likes because they're not broken, or based on a silly premise (Bards anyone?), or just have a random "Cool" factor even if they don't have the substance to back it up (Just about every Ranger class in every game, ever). Forced from those four? Probably "Battler", just because it's vague and has no real meaning. That could be everything from a Magical Power Superhero, to an Axe Swinging Barbarian, to random Squire Peasant Hero, or anything in between.

I chose Sworrdsman because theyre alwqays the strongest in like every game. Take cloud from FF7 if you don't believe me. The list goes on: Squall, Tidus, Auron, Zidane( Wait, hes a thief), Pain, Vaan, Basch, Marche, nearly all Fire Emblem characters.....Come on!

Swordsman usually. Its not the most exciting class but I like to be able to give and get high lvls of damage other classes aren't built for. And equipment is easier to manage without worrying about spells too. Not that I don't also enjoy other classes.

Hands down favorite is Mage, Summoner, Warlock, Wizard...basically anything that does a ton of damage from far away. Though in FFTA/FFTA2 I have found myself useing the fighter and white monk skill Air Render an absurd amount. I think it's ridiculously overpowered, it's more accurate than a basic attack, it hits for more damage, it has 2-3 squares longer range, and most laws in either game don't apply to it. Also, when you think about it, black Mage, white Mage. So the people that like healers will also pick magic. Thank you and Have a Nice Day.

I'm going to go with swordsman because its generaly a well balanced class with some good characters in it. Lets use Flik from suikoden for an example, he's a strong fighter who can also cast at a decent level. For a more attack based person well use Victor, again suikoden, he is made to do great damage usually in one hit. A speedy swordsman would be Richard, from suikoden 5, he is a quick attacker who hits multipule times very easly and can dodge or parry most attacks. Anyway you go its a great class so there you go.

If it is just a game with one hero i would be the swordsman because it is the generic good allaround guy but if i can get away with other people doing that then i go with the rogue, i dont know but backstabbing the villains has always appealed to me

in my vote, i was reffering to FF I where the monk in that game just purely owns without even needing to get a weapon from the 50 or 100 floor dungeons

I chose quick players, because in GS and the likes, it's amazing when youre fast enough to go twice in one turn

I think it would definetly be the thief/rogue, because they're like ninjas :) They're the quickest and the most agile when it comes to movement and attacking, although it's not necessarily the most strongest attacks. Even in World of Warcraft, or Dungeons & Dragons, rogues (thiefs) own everything and is a very popular class in both games. Overall, thiefs pwn. 'Nuff said.
