I'd pick wizards first but thief would do fine.I like how wizards are able to do magic (duh) but it's the graphics I enjoy most when they cast their spells. :lazy:Their weak at melee or physical combat but if they can't touch you, they can't hurt you right? whahahaha

Thiefs are the best, generally, high hit ratio, criticals, dodge, and movement speed/distance, if your do 700 dmg as a thief, and 1000 dmg as a warrior, but you attack at 80% of the speed of a thief then after about 10 hits your looking at 10k dmg for warrior or 700 x 10 + 1.2 atk = 8850 + odds of crit making up that meek 150dmg and the chance of a dodge

I prefer the swordsman they're the best type for basic full frontal assaults due to the fact they can take as many hits as they can dish out

oh dang thieves FTW speed characters are KIXX man. They're lack of damage (typically) is made up for with speed and dexterity and in newer games crits (plus they can steal stuff SWEET)monks are probably the worst every game there's a monk type class they just depend on crits and have minor healing spells and the buffing spells. They're easily the worst. Swordsmen are balanced and usually have buff or minor minor healing spells. Mages well cmon magic OwnT. Then there comes to the speedy ppls. The type of characters that are pain to lvl up but pay to lvl up (typically). At higher lvls they would do enough damage to own all other classes when you think about it, the speed combined with the crits and accuracy. Then again in single player rpgs they would have to put in a pretty penny towards potions/herbs etc. But on the flip side they can also steal. As for mages they're probably one of the most self-reliant classes in my opinion. Stay away and shoot stuff at lower levels and at higher levels you don't have to worry about it. Swordsmen have it the easiest in al rpgs in the beginning and stay pretty consistent throughout usually, only problem is they're kinda dull. Monks and fist fighters would probably be for people who like a challenge in most games. As for mutli-player rpgs; the thieves become less useful as you dont need as much money from stealing to maintain you party, the monks become non-existent they're only use would be to like res a healer or something. And warriors and mages stay great. For me i still pick thief (my personal preference) but mages and warriors are probably overall best...

Everyone's got their role. If not for hack and slaher tanks we thieves would't be able to sneak in and steal the treasure and make BANK$. Swordsmen are pretty awesome in that they can take the grunts and make everybody's life easier.

I often choose a close-quarter combat character for the first time, to determine whether or not its even feasible to beat the game as a magic-wielder, but I do prefer the magic because there are often many options for spells and different classes, like fire, ice, bane, holy, earth, wind...The list just goes on!

I prefer quick characters, due to the fact that they act first. Usually, when it boils down to who moves first, it's better to have speed. Plus Agility allows them to dodge, so they make up for their weak def.
