Well as far as difficalty Vain from ff12 was the hardst storyline boss battle i had come on immutity to all attacks for what seem like 2-3 min gaaahe was anoying but the greatest ever is still sephy he beats all.

I don't remember any of the rpg bosses being that tough or bad because I just leveled up and killed them. It was pretty simple. I do like Cecil's brother from FFIV because he got blown away with meteor and his hand teleported away and somehow he was alive.

The most evil rpg bad buy that i have ever seen in any game would probably be Dycedarg from Final Fantasy Tactics because around the end of the game he actually sells out his own half brother (Ramza) as a heretic and kills his other brother (Zalbag), and then he turns Zalbag into a zombie and makes him fight Ramza. I'm not saying that Dycedarg is a really hard boss, but i am saying that he was pretty talented when it came to being twisted in that game.

hmm ethereeal queen cuz she's a boss that can pwn you even if your characters are maxed out and uhm trema from ff-2 cuz he can defy the aging process and own your ass

i can only remember sephiroth and neo cortex as of the moment. i guess it's all about being memorable when it comes to bad guys, at least for me.

I really feel repetitive, but, I HAVE to say Sephiroth. He's the coolest character of all time, including protagonists, and has the best weapon and attacks. Besides...whoever has one wing, blue/green eyes, long silver hair, and/or a 6 foot sword wins.

I think it was (im not sure if im right or not) Xenmas in KH2. I had to keep using reflectera and it was really hard to time when to use it and when to not. I ended up wasting a lot of elixers and it was the most annoying boss i ever fought. Half the time, i used Reflectora at the wrong time and nearly died when he hit me.

Lavos kicks ass in crono trigger. I mean hes not hard if you go through the whole game but if you fight when you first get the chance its almost impossible.

UGH SEYMOUR! Man, I hated that guy. But in terms of character, I'd say Sephiroth makes a better villain. I got tired of the sleazily polite, almost-immortal villain ages ago. >.>

Sephiroth is the best RPG bad guy. He's always be my favorite.
