Only on really hard catching travelers. Pokemon that stay still say "oh crap" when I bring out timer balls.

When I played the original Red version for the first time, I accidentally used my Master Ball on a Dido!!!But Id say usually you'd use it on the strongest Poke'mon in the game, or just use the cheat to get 99 of em'!

i gold and silver i cloned pokemon with the masterball so i had a lot and i just threw them at all the pokemon i needed cuz i had time lots of time on my hand on a road trip

i will use my masterball on groudon because he is very difficultyI dont use masterballs because on vba you can catch repeatedly with save states hahahhaha!

R/B/Y: I use it against Mewtwo (although on my first run, I botched some pressings and wasted it on Moltres)G/S/C: I use it either with Ho-Oh or with any of the DogsR/S/E: Without sharks, I don't use the Masterball. Using them... I catch'em all 
. FR/LG: Same as above. With VBA, I don't have to use 'em, since I can use states.

well in red/blue i cheated and had multple master balls but i actually wasted one on a grimer before i figured out the cheat

mewtwo...hard to capture unless you wanna try spamming your greatball for one hour.Else any other of the legendary pokemon.

for the original, Mewtwofor the second wave version (FR/LG): the Dogsfor S: Latios (or was it latias iunno)and i havent used it in pearl yet even though it says to use it on either one of the three spirit pokemon or the one after the pokemon leagues since they run the first chance they get..... but i think ill save it lol

why only use your master ball on one pokemon? there are cheats that allow you to replicate the no of master balls you have - you can have as many master balls as you want! i used my master balls on articuno, zapdos and moltres - and on mewto and mew. you can also use them to catch those annoying pokemon like abra - who keep teleporting before you can catch them. i've only played pokemon first series tho, but i'm sure there are cheats that'l let you do the same in other versions
