There is a cheat on fire red which turns ur poke ball into a masterball i caught moltres doing thatu hav to hold L+R when u hav selected poke ball and let go b4 u throw itthen hold a+b wen the pokemon goes in the ballit is very hard to do

i always use master balls on pokemon that run away.to catch the ones that dont move u just need lots of ultra balls and patience

I never use my master ball as there is only one in the entire game and well, being the perfectionist I am, I never used them.

yellow and red and blue of course mewtwo in gold silver and crystal the level 70 bird either lugia or ho ohand ruby/sapphire kyogre/groudon and leaf green and fire red mewtwo no idea about diamond and pearl

Until my friends copy my Masterball I never use it because I can usually catch a pokemon without it. The exception is in Red/Blue/Yellow version where there are no specialty balls and I used it on mewtwo.

I actually used mine on Latias (Emerald) and on Suicune (Crystal) they were both a pain since they always fled and you couldn't Arena Trap Latias since it knew Levitate

I actually never use masterball since I hate to waste such a rare item ^^" unless I use some sort of cheat to get more than one masterball then I use it all the time

I usually waste it on purpose on like a level 5 so that i have to catch all the legendaries with pokeballs/greatballs/ultraballs

On Any pokemon game ,depending on version. I'd catch that main pokemon in the game, or if i can get it without masterball, i'd go for some legendaries that run around (AFTER R/B/Y) So... i guess only legndaries obviously

I usually use my masterball on either a hard legendary or a wild shiny(don't want to risk accidentally killing it!)

I use it on Mewtwo, Ho-oh, and I never played any higher than crystal.

For me i just keep trying to catch the pokemon (i do in the end) until i have no ball but the master ball and the pokemon also has to be a legendary pokemon.
