I would say those times when your out of PP and out of healing items. Your stuck in the middle of a cave and you can't use fly to get out. Most of your pokemon are almost dead and you encounter wild pokemon that you can't run away from and then you die.Oh and those times where your using a sexy pokeball to capture a legendary even though the ball doesnt have any good effect on it, Like a luxury or primer, or dive ball on Regi Ice

I agree, but also when you have to go through the caves, like in Pokemon Diamond, on the road to the Pokemon League, and yes, you might run out of PP and such. I hate when that happens. But of course, it gets solved if you have an Action Replay, which I don't. XP

pokemon is fun but when it comes to breeding a specific pokemon, it's so painful! you have to get the right gender, nature, and through more and more breeding, you have higher iv and ev points..its exhausting...oh and trying to catch shiny versions of pokemons take forever too

Well the pokemon exploitations doesn't help much either... I was fine with it when the games weren't interconnected through the web, that way people could stay clear away from hacked pokemon acquired through gameshark, action replay, etc... but now with the introduction of the GTS in the NDS games, it's nearly impossible not to see people giving away hacked pokemon basically for free, spreading them around like diseases lol.

i believe that the hardest part of Pokemon is that the Pokemon in the wild are far to low level and do not give much exp so we are stuck searching for trainers and then when we run out have to go back to the wild Pokemon that give less then 1/2 from trainers

I find that the worst part of pokemon is not being able to continue from my last game, from red to gold per se. I think many would agree, if you had a team that was basically perfected under the previous game conditions, should those pokemon not be able to overcome almost any obstacle? Also, if they could overcome any obstacle, would you really need new pokemon? I am rather certain that aside from my interest in what each generation's starters are and how they battle and evolve, my charizard tends to consistantly wipe out the competition.

The random fights drive me absolutely nuts when I'm in a hurry or am trying to do something specific. Especially when I'm like a level 75 or something and get caught up with a level 4 pidgey or something.

my least favourite part would have to be the ongoing repetitive plot over the generations.. i wish they would at least mix up the number of gyms, or figure out a new system completely.. just to put a spin on things and keep it interesting.

the worst part of Pokemon for me is the gimmicks they give gyms. They've added more and more puzzles to any spot on the map the game has to offer.Examples in Black and white(a game i've vowed not to purchase but bought anyway)the first gym is a restraunt, the second one is a museum, the rest are utility buildings that aren't just made for one purpose. The fact that they continue the sliding traps and hiding trainers make me slightly upset at the Pokemon companyThe second one is the uncreative names of Pokemon and thier forms in this Black and White and after platinum.for example, i found a golem Pokemon that seems way too simple to be made by the company that made Mew.

the worst part of the game is when you encounter trainers while on your way to complete an assigned task (e.g. delivering letter to Steven in R/S/E or getting a HM in S.S. Anne in FR/LG or the first gen games [i never played them before, dunno?] )the other bad part is gym trainers.another part is the cave and ocean habitats.

Worst part of pokemon is the fact of lvling your pokemon to 100 or breeding to get specific attacks on certain pokemon. Gets boring after 87 hours o.O thats only around a weeks worth of play, if it didnt get old everything would be fine.Oh theres also the fact of catching every pokemon in the game.

Encountering Zubats/ Tentacools every alternate step in Caves/ while surfing. Other than that- battling the fisherman with the six Magikarp, and also hunting for a roaming legendary Pokemon.

The existence of roaming legendaries. It's bad enough that they're so hard to encounter, and when you finally see them in battle, **** has fleed! Although it's been getting better in later generations with the arena trap abilities and everything. In 2nd gen those legendary dogs gave me legendary rage.

I never have played pokemon enough to get them all the way to 100 about 77-85 range i start to get bored with myself i mean ya i could go out and catch all the legendary pokemon, they should make it so your rival catches it but no pokemons slow tedious leveling after you beat all the trainers

I guess if you exclude leveling then the worst part would be completing the dex(for those perfectionist)

Worst part of Pokemon? - EV grinding for good stats (this is why I rarely ever breed for IVs) - Completely random encounters (gets worse in caves/water or when your Pokemon are on low health). - Low capture rates for legendaries/rare PokemonAnd definitely most of all, losing.

The part I hate most about pokemon are all the caves and the start when they are going through the basics, it feels like it never ends. Caves can be ok When you have a whole heap of max repels

I think the the worst part of pokemon would be all the talking in the beginning. Its so annoying, just let the game start.

Levelling/catching all the pokemon is clearly the hardest things to do in these games
