The limited fun you can have without a real console (although it has increased with those Arenas or Championships or whatever).

finding a CUT tree too early in the game and forgetting about it forever. Destroying the Elite four only to learn that now you have to beat a champion, too. (false advertising). Making fictitious pixels "like" you so you can earn more medals to win pointless contests for pointless crap that is pointless. Not having a move bank that you can switch out at will (once its gone, its gone forever).

I think the worst part of Pokemon is that whenever you want to battle pokemon trainers, they are either; Nonexistant (willing to battle), or they are too bloody weak...

Probably the end game content from when you beat the elite once. That the only way to level is spamming them to level. So ya agreed to the opening post.

I was struggling to beat the Elite Four before I realize I have to level up higher than them. I wasted a lot of money for potions.

Lol usually you fight them at 85-90 and then just keep spamming it. They get easier the higher you get but it becomes repetitive.

I always hated how much little EXP wild pokemon give in comparison to trainers; leveling up in the original Gold/Silver/Crystal was terrible past 60...

Look up into the stars and you're gone.

This is your life, and it's ending one minute at a time.

i feel you should be able to gain experiece while battling real people because you'd be able to level up easier doing that.

Not really "worst" part but for me, I would want to have a timer/counter for repels ^^There are times you want to rush a cave but every 10 steps, you'll get pokémon encounters.I remember playing Pokémon Black and I'm in the cave full of electric type Pokémons (can't remember the name of the cave). The cave is so big, I just wanted to find the exit and I got a lot of encounters already.

Well as far as the time spent, well that's not the problem considering I've got almost 220 hrs. logged on my Pokemon Emerald. The worst part of that Pokemon game would have to be the Battle Frontier, I haven't won a single goddamn badge there..

Worst part is the fact that the series doesn't recycle enough of older generations for the newer games. They'd have a much more reasonable and enjoyable list if they did that.

The part in the beginning where you have to shuffle through grass versing level 3 Pokemon until you're starter one levels up to a good level (like 15 or something) in order for you to feel ready enough to move on to the first gym. Well maybe I'm the only one who does that

The worst part is when you are going through a tunnel or grass and meet pokemon all the time

For me it would be it's repeativeness, but most games are like that. The worst part is how it's so straight forward, you only have one goal, which you can't change or anything. After you finish the game, you don't get challengers, you just go through the trial of fighting the Elite Four over and over again, training your pokemon and such. The E-4 doesn't seem to get stronger (haven't tried the new ones since I gave up on the game).

The second worst part would be it doesn't give much of a challenge, just train your pokemon a bit, teach it a few good attack, and voila you're breezing though.

I'd say the worst part about Pokemon is the start. It's so slow...so so slow that sometimes I just give up completely. But leveling your Poke'mon up isn't the problem, but actually TRAINING them is. You need to get the best EV's out there so that you can own all other trainers with ease. You wouldn't want to make your Geodude fight Psychic types or Pokemon that specialise in Special attack now would you? So to be honest, the actual training of Pokemon is the most annoying, not the leveling :)

Storyline and maturity. I really do wish for pokemon game that has both, hints of darker tones maybe and deeper storyline that LOOK LEGINDARY CAPTURE!
