My first anime was probably either Hello Kitty or Doraemon. Thank God I wasn't permanently turned off towards anime after that. I remember tuning in on Saturday mornings...

Mines was Zoids, Pokemon, Dragon Ball Z, Digimon, Hamtaro or some other anime that showed on Toonami back in my day....I can't really remember which it was though...

Wow - I must be really old - I was just a kid when Kimba the White Lion and Astroboy were on TV... Then I used to watch Battle of the Planets, and one about a space craft that looked like a big naval ship?? They had a wave-motion cannon which used to be the focus of every damn episode.. Ahhh, reminiscing.

Cartoon Network's Adult Swim line-up now includes Astroboy. And I thought the animation in Speed Racer was on a budget, then I watched a couple of episodes of Astroboy and was suprised.Wow - I must be really old - I was just a kid when Kimba the White Lion and Astroboy were on TV... Tough question... I liked gundam when I was a kid and watched it while I was living in japan, but I didn't know japanese. If you don't count that, Shoujo Kakumei Utena >D Hurry for shoujo anime.
