Ranma 1/2 was my first anime that I knew was anime. (Before that, they were dubbed in either Chinese or English, and I couldn't tell, and wasn't bothered). Then I started collecting the manga, and it was so frustrating to wait for the new book to come out. (Yes, it *has* been that long -_-)

My first anime was either Sailor Moon, Pokemon or DBZ, I can't really remember, but the first anime I watched that I knew was anime was Cardcaptor Sakura, though at the time I watched the dub... evil.
