First Anime i watched as to be like Sailor Moon or DBZ but the thing that go me into the anime world is bleach when it came out in Japan

The first anime I could have watched would have been Sailor Moon.I remember watching it but its possible that I didn't see it for the first year that it was out.If thats what happened then my first anime was Dragon Ball Z or Digimon.

My first anime.. even though I didn't know it was an anime at the time.. was Doraemon. Kimba the White Lion was another one. The first series that I knew was an anime would have to be the original Dragon Ball. Honestly, before that, I didn't know there was a difference between anime and regular cartoons.

Embarrassingly enough, my first is actually Pokemon, probably followed by something in the cliche shounen area, probably DBZ, Digimon or something in that family of suck. =/
