Akira or maybe Trigun were the first I watched but I really got into it with Hellsing and Gantz.

My first anime, sadly, was Sailor Moon. But I have to be thankful for it because without me ever watching that show, I would never have liked anime at all. Though I could say Speed Racer. Yeah. I'll go with that. I watched that show a lot too.

mine was Sailor Moon when I was 6 or 7, I used to wake up every morning, 6 am or something, to watch it 
! I don't like Sailor Moon anymore actually, but my real gateway anime was Pokemon, which was when I started to like the style. And then Zoids:Chaotic Century blew me away a few years later, and since then I've loved anime.Of course in between all those 3, I also liked Samurai Pizza Cats and Hamtaro. And I saw an episode of Voltron and it was pretty sweet.

My First Anime was Robotech.I used to watch the hell out of it.Then Gundam wing Started showing. And to this day Gundam wing remains my favorite Anime series.(Sorry Folks. Didn't mean to reminise. )

Ages ago. With those eternal series like Dragon Ball, Sailor Moon etc. The first "real" anime was Evangelion \o/I say "real" because it's more concise than those never-ending animes.

db the classic or maybe speed racer, its funny because they have to sub the remaining mouth movements with laughs
