The first anime I technically ever saw was probably Speed Racer or Mazinger Z (Tranzor Z in the US). Of course I didn't KNOW it was Japanese at the time (I was around 4-5 years old, this was early 1980s), I just assumed it was really cheaply done, which is why their mouths didn't match their voice. The first anime I saw that I knew was anime was Vampire Hunter D, but what got me hooked was Evangelion in the mid 90s.

Sailor moon was the first anime I have ever seen. I remember I used to wake up like 5 in the morning and catch it on channel 50 I think. Those were the days.

my first favriot anime was dragonball z, yeah i knoe its a bit cleashe but. i really loved it, but now its over and i moved on to full metal alchemist

Gundam Wing and DBZ on Cartoon Network started it all for me in high school which led to me watching Evangelion and Cowboy Bebop next and from there thats when I started really getting ahold of whatever I could find, haha.

I think my first anime was Voltron i'm not really sure. If not then it was Ranma 1/2 for sure n as for Ranma 1/2 it became my favorite anime of all times.
