what about a controller pack? is it need also?It is important to note that one item above all others is the most pivotal in deciding whether or not a game will be emulated, and how well it shall be emulated; that is the video plugin. The emulator interprets the video plugin and controls things such as speed, framerate, and color spectrum with such; furthermore, the video plugin plays a large part in determining how often the emulator may crash. For the most part, Project 64 has a greater compatability rating with most roms - and with most users computer software - than any other, thus, we here at DGEmu recommend using such when attempting to run Nintendo 64 roms. A copy may be downloaded at the Project 64 homepage or the newest beta from the link below:Project64 1.6Project64 1.7.0.55Project 64 comes with a standard release - newer versions with the latest edition - of Jabo's D3D video plugin; however, this plugin is not compatabile with all games, thus, ere you inquire as to why your game "will not work", attempt to run it with the following plugins as well:GLN64 - http://gln64.emulati....com/index.htmlDownload version 0.3.2 if the lastest release does not work, or fails to emulate your rom. Please note that this plugin is not recommended for people with built-in Intel video cards.Rice's Daedulus 5.6.0 - Download HereMakes possible the emulation of games such as Ogre Battle 64.Use only after reading this topic.Rice's 6.1.0 - Download HereDaedulus Graphics Plugin - http://sf.net/projects/daedalus-n64/Recommended for use in emulating NHL 99.If you require further plugins, or would simply like to try others, you may consult an archive of such at NGEMU.com.The following list of games must - at this point in time - be used with a specific plugin (which is noted after their title) as no other will properly imitate such:Ogre Battle 64: Rice's Daedalus version 5.6.0Super Smash Bros: Jabo's D3D version 1.5The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time / Majora's Mask: GLN64 version 0.4.1Currently, the following games cannot be fully emulated, although portions of such may be playable:Pokemon SnapDonkey Kong 64I all else fails, we would recommend consulting the following compatability list, courtesy of bighead:http://bmgcl.emuxhav...files/bmgcl.zipFeel free to post a reply herein if you have anything pertinent to add.------------------------------------------------------------Edited and Updated by:booyah_boy

Um, I have Sixtyforce, but I wanted to know if the plugins that were listed before work on it or not.Well the only real support you will probably get is a recommendation of which emulator to use.If you don't know which emulator to use then go with sixtyforce. It is the best Mac emulator. N64 emulation for Macs has not been developed as well as it has been for PCs, so you will just have to deal with the majority of the problems you encounter. That being said the emulator isn't that bad, and it does run a fair amount of roms.

so I have to somehow get the 1.5 version plugin or whatever? or should i just download 1.7 and get rid of 1.6?The following list of games must - at this point in time - be used with a specific plugin (which is noted after their title) as no other will properly imitate such:Super Smash Bros: Jabo's D3D version 1.5

1. Click the square next to the N64 control you want to set2. within 5 seconds, you press the key you want it to map to.3. you should see the keyname/number appear. If it's a button on a gamepad, be sure to first select the correct gamepad in devices menu. See Manual for full details. If you have any keypress mapping software installed for your input device, you may need to unload it first so it doesn't interfere with DirectInput.
