I was talking about the enhancement packs, like high res or cell shading. I already have the rom.You can get Ocarina of Time on this site. It works great and it looks fine.

Well, I was using Project64 on the computer I was on. Now, I'm currently in-between emulators. I followed instructions exactly as the first post listed, but nothing would show up.I tried the GLN64, and I got choppy images, slow refesh rate, and choppy sound. I also used some others as a backup, and the Rice's gave me great sound, but no images. What emulator are you using?

Change the graphics plugin. The version of the emulator should hardly matter, so long as you got it from the official site. I currently run a 933MHz, 512 RAM, 32MB Intel Integrated Video Card and with Rice's Video Plugin 6.1.1, I am running the game @ 50-60 fps with only some minor color loss in the menu and the character sprites. It makes it a lot more playable if you mess with the different graphic plugins. The game on Rice's Video Plugin 6.1.1Okay so I have project64 and legend of zelda, right. When i play it, the game loads with 60 FPS and stays that way for a few monutes, then it steadily drops until it hits like 17 FPS and stays like that. The game is playable, but its like annoying and slow. How can i optimize my project64 in order to get higher FPS?My specs (i'm playing it on a laptop) are p4 2.8 ghz, ati mobility 9700 w/64mb ram, 512 ram.. which accordin to p64's offical site.. is more than enough
Alternatively, switching from the default Jabo's Direct3D7 1.40 to Jabo's Direct3D6 1.40 will gain some color back, but some of the texture mappings get lost in translation.
Running the emulator on 16bit or 32bit color depths will also increase the FPS. Believe me when I tell you, it has NOTHING to do with your system speed or RAM configuration. Just mess with the graphic plugins and options until you get something that works for you.
