It's something I've noticed for a long time too! Then again, weren't these systems originated over there in the first place?They have many games that never make it to US shores though, however. They have to be good enough to reach us. With that in mind, think of how many flops they must have as well that we never hear about. Since we just get the cream of the crop, it makes it appear that they're superior to our game engineers.
Is it just me or... are all good games from Japan?

You gotta hand it to japanese developers, they are truly creative. Kojima and Atlus are responsible for many of my favorite games!

Yeah Japan makes a lot of great games. The only good games I could think of that aren't Japanese are the Halo and Splinter Cell series.

Yeah,now that you mention it,I'm beginning to think so.A lot of games that I play happen to come from Japan,like Kingdom Hearts,Naruto,Digimon,Pokemon...I guess the good games really do come from Japan.After all,it was them who gave us the blessing we call "anime".

mostly all the heroes are created or char are created in japanand also their animation production is one of the best in the world

I kind of like... Dragon Age:Origins and Mass Effect. Bioware is amazing.

Yeah, they've made some really great games.For me, Square Enix and Nintendo have made some awesome games.[Square Enix] games have really good graphics and good story lines tooYou gotta hand it to japanese developers, they are truly creative.
