i just wanted to know thoughts on how Resident Evil 4 will turn out and if u think it will be a better game than the other resident evils including Resident Evil games on PS2.By the way Resident Evil 4 will be released on 1/11/2005.Cool Stuff on RE 4

Well, It's hard to say how good the game will be.From what I've heard about gameplay, it sounds awesome.The storyline I'm not exactly to sure on.But, I know at least the gameplay will keep me motivated to play it.Plus, the AI just sounds plain awesome.I probably won't compare it to the other Resident Evil's, since this one is taking a completely different direction.

As Darkiced2 said: It's hard to say if it will be better thanthe previous REs because it is so different.RE Zero was different in many aspects : 2 chars simultaneosly, no illogical"warp"-boxes anymore (items stay where you put them). But it was basicallystill the same old game.RE 4 is another thing: the change of the point of view (first person)and the fact that you can aim instad of just shooting in the direction of yourenemy makes the game more like a First Person Shooter...I don't know if I really like this - but I'm sure it will turn out to be a good game.

The only reasons I keep my cube is for Resident Evil games. There are some other goodies (Eternal Darkness, Metroid ) but RE 4 looks like it is going to be awesome

Resident Evil gamea are focused around the outbreak of the T-virus which is turning the populace into Zombies; sort of like Dawn of the Dead, except they are the more common, slow, bumbling, dull-witted zombie. Now do you understand a little more, Sum Random Guy?Anyway, Resi-Evil games are all good, but lets hope that they don't focus on the fact that its a new Resi-Evil game to make us buy it.are all resident evil games about shooting aliens?

i just hope there is some scare factor to this game...i havent seen any movie to make me jump lately, yet the last time i rememeber jumping was playing some of the RE games, movies nowadays just dont scare me anymore.....kinda sad really....

it will be very good game i think-new concept, not battling zombies it said on the trailer... 
-saving president daughter-new features,it got shop and you can get buy things there-Leon is back~!!!!!! with his new costume too COOOL~!!!!!!but if you want scary stuff, play Fatal Frame or silent hillthat's i reccomend for scary games

I have high hopes for RE4 - I just hope the axeing of the whole story up till now doesn't hurt the game too much. ;.; I don't like the sound of Leon running around protecting the president's preppy, weakling daughter. The AI does sound neat though. I'll definitly be picking it up, if I have enough money then!

You can't really judge it by its predecessors because it's so differentin terms of gameplay - but I'm sure capcom is doing a great job.

I just played RE 4 with a friend, and have to say, its really great!!!!, at the begining, on RE 1 the zombies was scary, but then in RE 0 the zombies were... humm, boring (and i'm a fan of RE) but now this RE 4 is scarier because those villagers and more inteligents, from the begining the game involves u in a very weird place.cant wait to get to the end of this game
