I like to use www.joystiq.com for a little more news in the gaming industry, and another great one is www.the-magicbox.com. I have the feeling that you will be using mostly those two for your news (less clutter).

I use gamespot, it's easy to find the reviews and they give three different scores, their score, the average user score and other score for other reviewing web sites and magazines. It's really easy to search through games and sort by date, name or score.

Can't go wrong with GameFAQs. User-submited cheats, tips, and guides are not always written nicely, but usually people will only take the time to write a guide if they think someone will find it useful. The walk-throughs are also pretty extensive, and they'll occasionally warn you of a bug that can screw up the game on you if you do things wrong.

I'd agree with the above post, Gamefaqs is the best out there for FAQ's, Guides and Cheats, but Gamespot is brilliant for general information on a game, and a lot of the cheats etc on the latter are from Gamefaqs anyway, so you could say that the sites link together in a way.

Agreed. I've stuck mainly with Gamespot and GameFAQs for most of my gaming info. Good stuff.

I think that IGN is probably one of the more informative game sites on the net at this time.
