The type of game is what matters when cheering me up.Yoshi's Island DS can make me extremely happy, for instance.New Super Mario Bros can too.

Yeah my DS cheers me up, but it works with my 360 aswell, but my DS is more mobile so i can just pull it out whenever.

I like to play Animal Crossing: Wild World when I get upset. Something about those cute animals and bright colors cheers me up. The music, however, drives me crazy, and must die.

yes, the bright colors and uplifting storyline of most gDS games are good at making you not... depressed.. anymorethat was hard to phrase...

Yes it does! Why hang around depressed when you can kill the fake hero in the Phantom Hourglass? Whacking that guy always cheers me up.

I guess. I mean I don't like play my DS when I need comfort. But everytime I play it, I focus on the game so my mind doesn't really focus on anything else. So I guess I could see how the DS might be like a temporary deppression-killer. Or whatever you want to call it.
