TOTALLY. Or, well, it depends on what game I play. Some games turn me worse. D:

yeah. any sort of video game cheers me up after a hard day at work or a long day at school. unless of course the game is frustrating and hard.

yeah, my DS can be a temporary escapism. But when I lose at the game, I get frustrated more. So I would probably avoid games like Contra :P . That's why I also get light hearted games.

depends on the game, because if I am gonna play a game that will get me frustrated, i don't think that would help my mood at all.

of course it does. :( uhm, it depends on the type of game i played. if its an adventure RPG game, i would be a mood of puzzle solving and happy. I don't play adventure RPG when i feel down, sad, worried or angry. it would just ruin the game. if i happened to feel those things, i would play a versus game or battle game like naruto path of the ninja or any. :(

Playing DS will cheer me up most of the time, but I cried so hard when I saw the final cutscene of TWEWY. Now I play it and it makes me happy, but I cry in certain parts of the storyline. I only have two games for my DS, but they do cheer me up I guess. =]

It does cheer me up. I've been wondering lately if this is just the fact that it gives me something fun to do for awhile and so takes my mind off of things or if there is an actual "high" associated with concentrated game play. What do you think? Does playing video games change your brain chemistry?
