If the depression is caused by not playing your DS that might be a psychological addiction to it.... I'd avoid that

depends on what's makin me sad, if it's something that is just a sad thing like someone dying or something bad happening sure, if i'm gettin depressed over something i can control like grades, image stuff like that then the ds would make it worse.

Normally I'd sleep when I'm depressed but since having a 1 yr old mixed with reoccurring bouts with post partum depression I don't get to sleep often especially not when I'm feeling depressed. So, I pick up my DS and while it doesn't take me out of depression it kinda acts like a reset button for my frazzled mind. . . . Lost my charger though. Sad. :/

it sometimes does but it really depends on the game you are playingi dont know this might sound weird but whenever im depressed i always go and play my ds and it always seems to get me out of a bad mood...anyone else?

yes playin ds does cheer me up espically when playing a game like drawn to life i draw a smiley face to get me out of anger ^^
